EverybodysaidIwasshoutingatthem---Isimplywasn’tawareofhowloudlyIwasspeakingasIcouldn’thearmyownvoice.Gavinkepttellingmemyphonewasringing,butIdidn’trealize.Iwastoobusytryingtoconcentrateonreadinghislips.Andwhenhetriedtotellmeacodetoputintomyphone,Ihadtokeepaskinghimtorepeatit,moreslowly.Eventuallyhelosthispatienceandsnappedatme:

“Justgivemethephone!

”Iwasshocked.

Peoplecouldn’tbebotheredtorepeatthemselves,sotheykepttryingtodothingsformethatIwasperfectlycapableofdoingmyself.IfeltI’dlostcontrol.
