Abstract
Inordertodesignanideamodelofthehalf-pipecoursetomeetdifferentrequirements,theconversionrelationshipbetweenworkandenergyinthesystemconsistingofsnowboardersandthecoursecomesfirst.Sincetheairdragisnegligible,theworkthatfrictiondoesbecomesthekeypointofsolvingtheproblem.Wemainlyusethedifferentialequationsandphysicaltheoriessuchasenergyconversionandenergyconservationtosolveforthemaximumvalueoftheverticalairandthespecificationsofthecourse.Andwebuildthreemodelstograduallymeettherequirementofthepracticalcourse.
Inthebasicmodel,tosimplifythecalculation,wehaven’tconsidertheslantangleofthecourse,andwedesignonewithasemicirculartransversalsurface.Weremovetheflatbottompartofthecoursetominimizetheworkdonebyfrictionaimingatmaximizetheverticalair,meanwhile,thetrajectoryofsnowboarderscanbeconsideredasasemi-circle.
