Introduction

Asanewcomerentersintosocialsurrounding,Ihavetoplantherestoflife,especially,forthecareerlife.Inthenearfutureofmyvocationalperiod,approximate2years,topracticethecurriculumlearnedatcollegeonthepracticalworking.Toachieverelatedskills,suchascommunicationskill,managementarttomyselfandothers(ifany),cooperationwithmyteamorcolleagues,capacityofenduranceforhighlytenseenvironment,Ineedtoshiftmypositioninvariousdepartmentsofcompany.Ofcourse,I’llneverforgetmakingmoneyformyemployerwhileIamlearning.

BeingaHumanResourcesmanagerwasmydreamwhenIenteredthecollege.ThoughIamnotmajorinHRM,Ishowmygreatinterestinthiscourse.OnlydoIknowthatHRMisacomplexcourse,butIamnotafraidofhardships.SoIwilldomybesttomakemydreamcometrue.Via3to5years’growth,I’llbeamanagerofadivision,atthattimeleadingtheteamofminetodevelopnewareaformycorporation.

HumanResourcesmanagerisresponsibleforthe attraction,selection, training, assessment,and rewarding ofemployees,whilealsooverseeingorganizational leadership and culture,andensuringcompliancewithemploymentandlaborlaws.IamsurethattheplanImadewillenablemetosucceedonconditionthatIpersistinimplementingit.

Duetotimeislimited,Ineedtocarryoutmyplanfromnowon.First,ImusthaveanideaofwhatIwantoutoflife.Iamasophomoreinacollege,andIknowthatmyknowledgeisnotadequatetobeaHumanRecoursesmanger.Now,Ihaveaclearoccupationaldirection.BeingasuccessfulHumanResourcesmanagerisnotonlymygoalbutmymission.AndtheearlierIstartthinkingaboutmylifemission,theeasieritistomaketheappropriatedecisionsandplanstoreachit.

AdvancedDegrees

CollegedegreecannotsatisfytheneedsofbeingaHumanResourcesmanager.Fortunately,wecollegestudentscanupgradefromcollegestudentstouniversitystudents.Iwillpassalltherelatedexamsandgetconsiderablemarks.

ProfessionalCertifications

BeingaHumanResourcesmanagerrequiresmanyrelatedcertificationssuchas HRCertificationPreparationProgramsforthePHR,SPHRandGPHR.

ComputerSkillsTraining

Withthedevelopmentofhigh-tech,computerskillsseemtobemoreimportant.Wecanfinishtheworkbyusingcomputers,anditsavesusmuchtime.IhaveobtainedFirst-levelcertificateforNationalComputer,butIneedtolearnmorepracticalknowledgeofcomputer.

E-Learning

Internetprovidesuswithmanyresourcestolearntheknowledge.Wecanaccesstomanywebsitesandgettherelatedinformationyouwant.

Basedontheworkyou'vejustdone,defineyourlifemissionandstartlivingitwitheverydecisionyoumake.Soonyou'llbeabletolookbackandseehowfaryou'vecome.

Establishyourpriorities

Onceyouknowyourmission,bebrutallyhonestwithyourself.Aretheactivitiesthattakeupmostofyourtimereallymovingyoutowardsyourgoals?

Ifnot,itistimetosetsomeprioritiesthatsupportyourgoals,andmakesuretheygetplentyofyourtimeandattention.

IamgoingtolearntheknowledgeofHRMbymyself.Itisdifficultformetolearnanunfamiliarcourse.Timeisapreciouscommodity.Itwilltakelotsofmytimetoacquiretheknowledge.Basically,you useitorloseit.Thegoodnewsisthatweallhavethesameamountoftimeeveryday,soIwilluseittomyadvantage.Sincetherewillalwaysbeplentyofdiversionstodistractmefrommygoals,Iwillpracticestayinginthedriver'sseatwhenitcomestotimemanagement.Iwon’tputofffortomorrowthethingsyoucandotodayis procrastination. Procrastinationiswastedenergy.

Asweallknow,beingaqualifiedHumanResourcesmangerrequireshigheducationandprofessionalknowledge.TheresponsibilitiesofaHumanResourcesmanagerinvolvemanyskillstoperformthejob.ButmycurrenteducationisnotuptothestandardofbeingHR.Idon’thavesufficientknowledgetogetcertificationssuchasProfessionalinHumanResources(PHR)orSeniorProfessionalinHumanResources(SPHR)aswell.ImajorinInternationalBusinessManagementsoIdon’thaveadequatetimetostudytheknowledgeofHumanResourcesManagement.Inparticular,thereisnotutortoguidemehowtobeginwithmystudy.Itisdifficultformetogetthecertificationonlybylearningbymyself.Inspiteofthese,itishightimetomakesomeimprovementasfollows:

1.TryingtogetaBachelorDegreeby2014.IwillstudytherelatedcoursewhichIhavetopasseveryday.Keeplearningandfinishingthetestpapereachday.IftherearesomeknowledgeIdon’tunderstand,Iwillaskhelpfromtheteachersorclassmates.Ensurethateveryunknownquestionissolvedintime.

2.Gaintheknowledgeontheinternet.ThoughIdon’thaveatutortoteachme,Icangetthelearningmaterialsfromtheinternet.Printthesematerialsandreadthemeveryday.What’smore,Ineedtounderstandtheknowledgementionedinmaterialsdeeply.

3.Manyseniorscholarsofferthehelptothebeginners.Therefore,Icanaskhelpfromthem,andIalsocanmakefriendswiththestudentswhomajorinHRMforfurtherlearning.

4.EnrollinHRMclass.Academicenvironmentiscrucialforthestudentstodedicateinlearning.IbelievethatIwillmakegreatprogressbyenrollinginHRMclass.Inaddition,Iwilltakethecoursesonweekends.Intensivelearningcanmakemegetthegreatprogresseasily.
