Theresultsdidnotsurprisetheresearchers.Afterall,birdslivingincitiesandtownsfacemanymorechallengesanddangersthanthosethatliveinthecountry。
Butasitturnsout,thecitybirdsprovedtohavebetterimmunityandarethereforemoreresistant(抵抗的)todiseasesthanthoselivinginthecountryside.Whileadditionalstudiesneedtobedonetoseeifthisistrueforallcitybirds,thereisnoreasontobelievethattheresultswouldbeanydifferent。
