Peoplewhoattackusingnuclearenergyforgeneratingelectricitygenerallysaythatitistoodangerous,bothnowandinthefuture.Theypointtoseverenuclearaccidents,suchasChernobyl,andsomeothersintheUnitedStates,andsaythattheeffectsaresobadthattheriskofanaccident,eveniftheriskisverysmall,isnotworthwhile.Theyalsooftensaythattherewillbeproblemsinthefutureofhowtostorethedangerouswastefromoldnuclearpowerstations,whichcanbedeadlyforthousandsofyears.

Asfarasmyowncountryisconcerned,Ibelievetherearetwomainreasonswhyitshouldnottrytousenuclearenergyatthistime.Firstly,wehaveplentyofoilandhydroelectricenergyfromwhichtogenerateelectricity.Secondly,ifcountriesliketheUnitedStatesandRussiacansuffernuclearaccidents,itwouldbeverydifficulttoguaranteesafetyinmycountry.Furthermore,wehavemanybetterandmoreurgentthingstodowiththemoney.
