象其他质量相同的星一样,一旦太阳消耗完了它的氢气,太阳就会扩张成红矮星,最终喷射出一些气体变成白矮星。
题目分析:
A干掉,原因是likeanystar在逗号后面没有马上说谁不象那个anystar(记住,说了不行必须是马上说,那个once不行)。
B逗号后面用hydrogen就更不靠谱了,干掉。
C中的itwillexpand中的it按照道理应该指的是太阳,但是前面没有说过太阳,干掉。
Dasanystar,逗号后面说氢气,不行,干掉(为什么C我不这么讲,因为C前面加了inthecaseof)E为什么once就没有事情,因为不失前面的anystar和后半句进行对比,是thecase和后面的某个case进行对比,once就已经开始说case了,没有问题,并且it指的太阳前面说过,没有问题,选E。

Theproblemconfrontingterrestrialsnakesisbestillustratedbywhathappenstoseasnakeswhenremovedfromtheirsupportivemedium.Becausetheverticalpressuregradientswithinthebloodvesselsarecounteractedbysimilarpressuregradientsinthesurroundingwater,thedistributionofbloodthroughoutthebodyofseasnakesremainsaboutthesameregardlessoftheirorientationinspace,providedtheyremainintheocean.Whenremovedfromthewaterandtiltedatvariousangleswiththeheadup,however,bloodpressureattheirmidpointdropssignificantly,andatbrainlevelfallstozero.Thatmanyterrestrialsnakesinsimilarspatialorientationsdonotexperiencethiskindofcirculatoryfailuresuggeststhatcertainadaptationsenablethemtoregulatebloodpressuremoreeffectivelyinthoseorientations.
Onesuchadaptationisthecloserproximityoftheterrestrialsnake'shearttoitshead,whichhelpstoensurecirculationtothebrain,regardlessofthesnake'sorientationinspace.Theheartofseasnakescanbelocatednearthemiddleofthebody,apositionthatminimizestheworkentailedincirculatingbloodtobothextremities.Inarborealsnakes,however,whichdwellintreesandoftenassumeaverticalposture,theaveragedistancefromthehearttotheheadcanbeaslittleas15percentofoverallbodylength.Suchalocationrequiresthatbloodcirculatedtothetailofthesnaketravelagreaterdistancebacktotheheart,aproblemsolvedbyanotheradaptation.Whenclimbing,arborealsnakesoftenpausemomentarilytowiggletheirbodies,causingwavesofmusclecontractionthatadvancefromthelowertorsotohead.Bycompressingtheveinsandforcingbloodforward,thesecontractionsapparentlyimprovetheflowofvenousbloodreturningtotheheart.
