Itis.Thesolutiontothischallengeistoconstantlyrefinetheplantsexistenttechnologyformaximumoptimization.Followingthisprinciple,ourengineershaveusedtheproven5Mwindturbineasabasisfordesigningthe6Moffshoremodel–andhavethusdevelopedawindturbinewithanominalpowerof6.15megawattsandarotordiameterof126metersthatranksamongthemostpowerfuloffshorewindpowerplantsintheworld.

Todeliveranoptimalperformance outontheopenseathe6Mwindturbinehasbeendesignedtomatchthechallengesoflargeoffshorewindfarmsanddeepwaters.Manyofitscomponentsfeaturearedundantdesign,thusincreasingitsavailability.Varioussensorsensurethatanyfailureisdetectedandfixedasquicklyaspossible.Incaseofmaintenance,the6M’sspaciousdesignallowsformaximumcomforttoensurequickrepairs.
