倒装

什么是倒装？

　　“主语+谓语”是陈述句序，如果排列顺序变为“谓语（或谓语的一部分）+主语”，就是倒装语序。

倒装的类型

部分倒装：

只把助动词、情态动词、系动词或表语放在主语之前叫部分倒装。

　　Eg.Hashegonetoschool?

　　　　Canyoufinishtheworkinthreedays?

　　　　Isheaworker?

　　　　Youngasheis,he…

全部倒装：

整个谓语移至主语前面。

　　Eg.ThencameMaryandGeorge.

　　　　Herecomesthebus.

　　　　Theregoesthebell.

　　　　Downcamethehammerandoutflewthesparks.

　　　　Acrosstheriverstandsanewlybuilthotel.

全部倒装的条件：

下列词在句首：

　　here,there,now,then…

　　in,out,down,up,back,over,away,off…

　　oneithersideof…,infrontof…,

　　inthedistance,acrosstheriver,againstthewall...

谓语为不及物动词时：

　　ThencameMaryandGeorge.

　　Theregoesthebell.

　　Downcamethehammerandoutflewthesparks.

　　Acrosstheriverstandsanewlybuilthotel.

　　Offwentthehorses.

　　但代词作主语时不倒装

　　Therehecomes.

　　例：

Hearingthecry,out_____.

倒装常见用法

1、用在以never,hardly,scarcely,notonly,nor,seldom,little,rarely,nowhere,bynomeans,atnotime,notuntil,hardly…when,nosooner…than等表否定意义或半否定意义副词或词组开头的句子中。

　　HardlydidIthinkitpossible.

　　Notuntilmidnightdiditstopraining.

2、副词only放句首，修饰限制状语时用倒装。

　　—Onlywhenthewarwasoverin1918washeabletogethappilybacktowork.

　　—OnlythendidIrealizetheimportanceofEnglish.

　　但：

（1）only不放句首，不倒装

　　　　例：

Theaimwasachievedonlyafterabitterstruggle.

（2）如果放句首，修饰的是主语不倒装。

　　　　Onlytheteachersareallowedtousethisroom.

3、as引导让步状从，=though

　　用as必须用倒装，用though可倒可不倒，用although需用正装语序。

　　Tiredas（=Though）hewas,hewentanworking.

　　Childasheis,heknowsagreatdeal.

4、用在省略if的虚拟条件句中，把were,had,should移至主语前。

　　—WhereIinyourplace,Iwouldn’tgiveitupsoearly.

　　—HadIknown,Imighthavejoinedyouinthediscussion.

　　—Shouldyoubeinterested，Ihaveabookonthesubjectyoumightliketosee.

5．So,neither表“也一样/也不这样”，用倒装。

　　Theycanswimnow,socanwe.

　　Youcan’tdoit,norcanI.

6、表祝愿

。

　　—Mayyousucceed.

　　—Mayyoureturninsafety.

　　—LonglivethefriendshipamongtheAsianpeoplesandsportsmen!

7、强调表语的句子，表语提前，不仅是为了强调，而且是为了使句子结构达到平衡协调，使带有较长修饰语的主语放到句子后部，避免头重脚轻。

　　—SuchwasAlbertEinstein,asimplemanofgreatachievements.

　　—Suchwasthestoryhetoldme.

　　—Happyishewhodevoteshimselftothecourse.

　　—Greathavebeenourachievementssinceliberation.

　　如果主语是代词，且无较长的修饰语修饰时，仅把表语提前，动词并不提到主语前。

　　Terriblyhotitcertainlywas.

8、therebe结构

　　Therearedifferentformsofenergy.

　　Therestandsahighbuildingbytheriver.

9、So+adj.\adv.（表程度）…that….
