Technologyhasshakenupplentyoflife’smodes,butformanypeopleithascompletelyalteredtheoncepredictableroutinesatthestartoftheday.

InMaythisyear,GabrielleGlaserofMontclair,N.J.,boughther14-year-olddaughter,Moriah,anApplelaptopforherbirthday.Intheweeksafter,MoriahmissedtheschoolbusthreetimesandwentfromwalkingthefamilyLabradoodledogfor20minuteseachmorningtoonlybrieflylettingthedogoutside.
