工程付款（PaymentfortheWorks）
工程的进度款是以当月完成的工程量为基础进行计算的，有时为了核定承包商应得到的期中付款的额度,业主的工程师通知承包商协助其对完成的工作进行计量。

说明工程师认为承包商计算期中支付款的时间有误，每次付款应按日历月而不是按每四周来付款。
第二段：
说明工程师给出了他签发的期中支付证书的内容，涉及的工作项包括：
准备工作；拆除工作；设置围栏；开挖工作；结构工程；运达现场的材料等，并给出了扣除了5％的保留金和以前支付的款项后承包商应得到的进度款净额。
第三段：
说明工程师在准备工作项和设置围栏这两项下，对承包商申请的金额进行了扣减。
第四段：
说明工程师还扣除了上个月在现场被盗的围栏材料的价值。
第五段：
说明由于承包商该月应得到的付款的净金额低于投标书附录规定的月最小付金额，工程师决定，这笔金额在当月暂时不支付，与下月的应支付款一起支付，并同时将这决定通知业主。

拖期付款
在工程款的支付中，业主拖欠承包商工程款的现象是屡见不鲜的。
但由于工程付款程序比较复杂，有时付款过程中可能会出现一些问题，导致双方对问题的不同看法。

同时威胁，如果业主仍不付款的话，承包商将按照合同采取相应的行动。

每月报表。
在FIDIC等编制的合同条件中，承包商申请每月的期中付款（进度款）时，需要提交一份monthlystatement，这实际是一份“付款申请书”。
2、paymentagainstthisstatement:
针对该报表的付款。
against在此的意思是relatingto（与相关）。
