•Oncespellershaverepeatedtheirwordtheyhaveoneandahalfminutestocompletethespelling.Atthe60-secondmark,spellerswillbeinformed（e.g.ringofabell）thattheyhave30minuteslefttocompletethespelling.Asecondringoftheballat90secondswillshowthetimeisup.Ifspellershavenotcompletedthespellingoftheirwordatthe90-secondmark,theyareimmediatelydisqualified.

•Thespellermayaskthepronouncertosaythewordagain,defineit,useitinasentence,providethepartofspeechorprovidethelanguageoforigin.Thepronouncershallacceptallsuchrequestsuntilthejudgesagreethewordhasbeenmadecleartothespeller.Rootwordquestionswillnotbeaccepted.
