sworkeasier.So,manypeopleturntocomputersforhelpwhentheywanttohavetheirjobdone.Foranother,computersarebecomingcheaperdaybyday.Asaresult,manyuniversitiesinstalltheminlargenumbersandmanyfamiliescanaffordtobuyone,consequently,theyarealwaysavailableforthestudentstouse.Buttheprimereason,Ithink,isthatwiththedevelopmentofsociety,computersareusedinalmostallwalksoflife.Thosewhoarespecializedinoperatingcomputersarebadlyneeded.Ifastudentisgoodatcomputer,chanceswillbegreaterforhimtogetajob. 

Manyproblemsalsoariseinstudentsuseofcomputers.Oneproblemisthatsomestudentsspendtoomuchtimesittinginfrontoftheircomputers,asaresult,theirbealthisaffected.Theotherproblemisthatsomestudentschatorplayvideogamesforalongtimeoncomputers,wastingalotoftheirprecioustime.Soitissuggestedthatthesestudentsmakeascientificandpositiveuseofthecomputers.

Itistruethatstudentshavebenefitedfromspendingmoreandmoretimeonthecomputer,butproblemshavealsoarisen.Somestudentsindulgethemselvesincomputergames,refusingtoconcentrateontheirstudies,whilemanyotherstudents’healthhasbeendamagedasaresultoftoomuchexposuretocomputers.

 Since1990,therehasbeentremendousgrowthintheuseofcomputersbystudents.Whilein1990,theaveragenumberofhoursastudentspentonthecomputerwasaboutonehourperweek,thisnumbergrewtonearlyfourhoursperweekby1995,andtoapproximately20hoursperweekbytheyear2000.

  Thissignificantgrowthintheuseofcomputersbystudentsinthe1990'

scanbeattributedtoseveralfactors,includingwidespreadusage,lowerprices,andtechnologicalandsocialdevelopments.Nowadays,computersarewidelyusedbystudentsforwordprocessing,bookkeeping,multimediapresentations,andaccesstotheInternetforbothresearchandcommunications.Additionally,since1990,duetocompetitionandtechnologicaladvances,computerhardwareandsoftwareprices,aswellasInternetusagechargeshavedroppedsignificantly.Finally,technologicaldevelopmentsandchangesinsocialhabitsinthe1990'

shaveplayedamajorroleinthistremendousgrowthintheuseofcomputers.Today'

ssocietyreliesheavilyoncomputersforimmediateaccesstothenewsandforentertainment,including,listeningtomusic,watchingmoviesandsportevents,andplayingcomputergames.

taffordthem.Nowtheyhaveenoughmoneytobuybothmeatandmilk.Second,peoplenowadyspaymoreattentiontotheelementsoftheirdiet.Theylookforawell-balanceddietthatwillbegoodfortheirhealth.

sdietinthepastfiveyearsbecauseoffinancialandhealthreasons,andtherewillbefurtherchangesinthefuture.

ChangesinPeople'sDiet

Thistableshowsthechangesinpeople'sdietfromtheyear1986to1990.Fromthetable,onecanseethatgreatchangeshavetakenplaceinthepastfiveyears.Thereisageneraltrendofdecreaseintheconsumptionofgrain,butanincreaseintheconsumptionofsomehighprotein,highenergyfood,suchasmilkandmeet.

Therearetwomajorreasonsforthechangeinpeople'sdiet.Ontheonehand,afterthecarryingoutofthereformandopentotheoutsideworldpolicy,peoplehavebecomerich,whichenablesthemtoaffordfoodwithmorenutrition.Ontheotherhand,peoplehavemoreknowledgeinimprovingthestructureoftheirdiet.Theynotonlypayattentiontothequantitybutalsothequalityofwhattheyeat.

Sofromtheanalysis,wecandrawaconclusionthatoursocietyisprogressingandpeoplearelivingabetterlifethanbefore.Wearenowabletogetmoredeliciousandnutritiousfood,resultinginanimprovementinourhealth.Wecanbesurethatabetterlifewillbewaitingforusinthefuture.

Fromthechartwecanseethatduringthepastfiveyearstherehavebeengreatchangesinpeople’sdiet.Thegreatestchangeoccursingrainconsumption,whichhasdropped4%from49%in1986to45%in1990intotalfoodconsumption.Thesecondgreatestchangeisinmilkconsumption,whichincreasedfrom10%in1986to13%in1990.Butontheotherhand,twotrendscanbeobservedintheconsumptionofmeatandfruitandvegetables.From1986to1989,meatconsumptionincreasedfrom17%to23%whilethatoffruitandvegetablesdroppedfrom24%to20%.From1989to1990,meatconsumptiondroppedalittleto21%,whilethatoffruitandvegetablesincreasedalittleto21%.
