Itisaneffectivetooltoensuretheglobalfoodsafety,anditisalsoanewtaskforthedomesticfoodsafetywork.

Atpresent,inmanycountries(especiallytheEUandsomedevelopingcountries),fromgovernmentagenciestoconsumergroups,areinurgentdemandandconcernstheapplicationoftraceabilitymeasurementmethodsinfoodproductionandfoodsupplychain.

Thefoodsafetytraceabilitysystemcanbeestablished,canidentifytherootcausesofproblems,theimplementationofproductrecallorwithdrawal,getmorereliableinformation,thusconducivetotransparencyoffoodchain,improvefoodsafety,andenhancethefoodchainbetweenthedifferentstakeholdersincooperationandcommunication.
