Imageenhancementcouldachieveabettervisualeffectandimprovethehumaneye’sabilitytoidentifyinformation.Moreover,asapreconditioningtechnique,itcanmaketheprocessedimagesmoresuitablethantheoriginalonestodothefollowinganalysissuchasparameterestimation,imagesegmentation,object37

recognitionandsoon.Thus,thestudyonenhancementhasalwaysbeenbeingoneofthemaincontentsinimageprocessingfield.However,thetraditionalimageenhancementalgorithmsbasedonhistogramhaveseveralshortcomings.1Theinformationcarriedbygraylevelsisinconsistentwithitsstatisticdatainconventionalhistogram.2Theconventionalhistogramequalizationhasnotmadefulluseofthevisualsensitiveregionsintheprocessofgrayleveladjustment.3Theparameterscannotbeoptimizedonandconfiguredadaptivelyinviewofthevariabilityoftheimagecontent.Tocopewiththeseproblems,therelativedetailedworkcanbeconcludedasfollows.First,toovercomethedrawbackofconventionalhistogram,anovelhistogramconstructionmethodhasbeenproposedbasedonvisualattentionmechanism.Boththequantityandspacedistributionareconsideredinthestatisticprocessofgraylevels.Theimportanceofgraylevelsindifferentpositionscanbecalculatedbyusingthecomputationalmodelofvisualattentionmechanism.Meanwhile,thestatisticresultsareXX大学XX学院201X届XXXX专业毕业设计weightedaccordingtotheimportanceofeverypixel.Thenewhistogrammethodcouldreflecttheinfluenceofthegraylevelsontheimageinformationobjectively.Second,inordertoconsiderthenonlinearcharacterofvisualperceptionintheprocessofgrayleveladjustmentfully,ithasbeenraisedthatdifferentamountsofgraylevelinformationaredistributedtodifferentvisualsensitiveregions.Theregionwithhighsensitivityshouldbeallocatedmoreinformation.Andthemaingraylevelsareconstrainedbyusingtheperceptionabilitycurveofhumaneyes,avoidingthemoccupyinglargespaceintheexpandingprocessofhistogram.Finally,inordertoobtainbetterimageenhancementresults,theproportionsofhistograminformationdistributedtoeveryvisualsensitiveregionshouldbeadjustedduetothevariabilityofimagecontent.Thus,anadaptivemethodtoobtaintheoptimalregulatingparametersisproposedbasedontheanalysisoftheimage.致谢38
