推荐信有一定格式吗，比如称呼，落款，日期什么的。

推荐信的格式有些模式可循,以下将针对各段提供模式作参考：

引文句子可以引用如：

这段可以提供最实质的内容。

好的推荐信应该包括哪些内容?

（1）申请者的学业成绩或特质，是否具有领导才能，是否具有很强的分析能力等。

在这一点上要注意适度，不能因为谦虚对优点加以掩盖，也不能夸夸其谈过高的估计申请者。

（2）充分挖掘申请者自身的特殊之处，例如有很强的沟通能力，或者是擅长某种语言等。

（3）就你所了解的范围而言，该申请者有什么比较重要的成绩或是成就，学业上的或是其他方面的。

去美国留学，推荐信的内容基本都是夸奖学生的好话，然而学校又接受怎样的好话呢?

申请美国大学自荐信的作用到底是什么呢?

1.你所讲述的都是事实

推荐信，首先就是看它在多大程度上证实并支持你在申请表格中所讲述的事情和你的角色定位。

有些学校的招生委员会用”吻合”这一术语来描述你所讲的有关自己的情况和推荐人所讲的有关你的情况是否一致。

譬如，你声称自己经常组织班级讨论,并且对此类的”英雄”事迹直言不讳，那招生官员就会通过推荐人的推荐信来证实你所讲的情况是否属实。

3.提供更多有关你的信息

因为你在申请短文中所能讲述的内容是有限的，所以，你很难把握所有可能使你成为合格申请者的每一件事情都表达出来。

这样，用推荐信来填补这一空白就显得非常重要了。

比如，”在你所列出的各项活动当中，哪一项活动对你最有意义，为什么?

”就可能是其中的某—个问题。

如果你参加了两三项自己都喜欢的活动，你是不是就应该对它们都进行粗略的描述呢（而不是集中笔墨于其中的一项活动，展开讨论）?

或者为没有足够的空间讲述其中某项活动而感到绝望呢?

其实，都没有必要。

你应该做的，就是充分利用推荐信对你的申请做一个补充。

通过与推荐人的相互协作，你可以用推荐信详细讲述你候选资格某些方面的情况。

这些可能是你自己在申请材料中未及提到的。

4.你的成就给别人留下了深刻的印象

招生官员不大喜欢申请者过分显露自己的锋芒。

如果你的叙述代表的只是你个人主观的看法，而不是以例证为支持的客观事实，那就更会引起招生官员的反感。

如果是由推荐者而不是你自己来说，你是“戏剧社团中最有趣的一位”或者“人人都尊重的一位”，那你就更容易被大家所接受，而且也更可信。

推荐人正面的评价能让招生官员意识到，你给别人留下了好印象。

此外，还能让他们相信，你对自己的描述是真实的。

5.影响学习或课外表现的一些特殊情况

推荐信是讲述异常事件或特殊情况的好机会。
