WedecidedtomakeadocumentaryaboutGreenlandbecausefirst,
no-oneelseisdoingoneatthemomentandsecondly,becauseitis
goodplacetoseetheeffectsofglobalwarming,whichweallknow
isatopicalsubjectjustnow.
We’veshotaboutfivehoursofmaterialandhavesomegreatshots
ofwildlife-especiallypolarbears-andsomereallyinteresting
interviewswithlocalpeople.
It’stakenabitlongerthanexpectedbecausetheweatheriskindof
unpredictableandwe’vespentquitealotoftimewaitingaroundfor
ittochange.Anotherproblemhasbeengettingpermissionstoshoot
upinthenorth.It’saconservationareaandtheauthoritieshavebeen
prettytightlettingusfilm.
