2.日期的英文表达：

英语中月份和星期名称都是专有名词，它们的首字母必须大写，并且前面无需用冠词。

用英文来表示日期，其顺序为“月+日+年”日和年之间需要用逗号隔开；

也可以用“日+月+年”来表示。

3.athree-dayholiday表示“三天的假期”。

带连字符的名词不加s,后面可接名词，在句中做定语。

4.assoonas意为“一…就…”,一般用于引导时间状语从句。

如果主句用将来时，含有情态动词或为祈使句时，从句必须用一般一般现在时。

如：

3.until可作介词或连词,意为“到…时候为此；

直到...才…”,如果主句中的谓语动词是终此性动词，应采用“not…until…”的结构，意为“直到…才…”。

1.It’satimeforaspecialdinneramongfamilyandfriends.

1）It’stimefor（sb）（doing）sth.=It’stime（forsb.）todosth,意为“是做某事的时间了，该做某事了。

”

2）among意为“在…之中”，表示位于三者或三者以上之间，其宾语通常是表示笼统数量或具有复数意义的名词或代词。

例如：

注意;

between与among的区别：

between指两者之间，among指三者或更多的事物之中。

2.Thereareplentyofotherthingstoseeanddo.

1）plentyof意为“大量；

许多”，其后可以接可数名词或不可数名词，大多数用于肯定句中，相当于alotof/lotsof.

2）toseeanddo是不定式作后置定语，修饰things,意为“可看的和可做的事情”。

不定式作定语时常常置于被修饰词的后面。
