Paralinguisticfeaturesoflanguages

Goodmorning,everyone.Todaywe'llcontinueourdiscussionondescribinglanguage.Lastweekweexaminedsuchfeaturesoflanguageasgrammar,vocabulary,thesoundsoflanguage,etc.Inthislecture,we'lllookatanotherimportantaspectoflanguage.Perhapssomeofyoumaywonderwhatisthisimportantaspectoflanguage.Letmetellyou.Itreferstofeaturesofcommunicationthattakesplacewithouttheuseofgrammarandvocabulary.Theyarecalled‘paralinguisticfeaturesoflanguage'.Thesefeaturesfallintotwobroadcategories:
