Abstract:
WoolfiberwasgraftedwithchitosancoatedAg-loadingnano-SiO2(CCTS-SLS)antibacterialcompositesunderultravioletirradiation.ThemorphologiesandstructuresofCCTS-SLS-woolwerecharacterizedbyusingscanningelectronicmicroscopy,transmissionelectronmicroscopy,andFouriertransformationinfraredspectrometry.Theresultsshowthatauniformandsmoothantibacteriallayerof200nminthicknesswasformedonthesurfaceofwoolfiberbycovalentbonding.Themechanicalpropertiesoftheantibacterialwoolfiberwereimproved.Theantibacterialperformancewasfoundtobeexcellent,withantibacterialeffectupto90%evenafterrepeatedwashing.CCTS-SLS-woolpossessedsofthand-feelingandgoodcolor.©

Thetransmission-linemodelingmethodandananalyticalformulationareemployedinthispapertoinvestigatetheelectromagneticshieldingperformanceofenclosureswithapertures.Theeffectsofsomerelatedparameters,whichareneglectedintheformulation,areanalyzedoverabroad-band(0-3GHz)tomaketheformulationoptimal,andtheshieldingperformanceatsomefrequencypointsisstudiedindetail.Finally,approachestoimproveshieldingeffectivenessareproposed.Fortheenclosureswestudied,thetheoreticalanalysisandsimulationresultsillustratethattheanalyticalformulationcanpredictshieldingeffectivenessaccuratelywhenthefrequencyoftheincidentwaveislessthan1GHz,whilewhenthefrequencyismorethan1GHz,itsapplicabilitydeclinesremarkably.Fortunately,thesimulationresultsindicatedthattheshieldingeffectivenesscanbeimprovedtoacertainextentbyadjustingthespacingbetweenapertures,selectingappropriateshapesofapertures,ensuringthelongersideofaperturesisnotperpendiculartothepolarizationdirectionoftheincidentwave,andinstallingsensitiveequipmentaccordingtothepropagationdirectioninthecaseofthatthesepropertiesoftheincidentwaveareknown.©
