学情分析
知识基础：
学生在前几册教材中已经接触过这几个形容词，本课通过先复习之前学过的Howtallareyou?
I’m…Howoldareyou?
I’m…句型。
然后通过看图片说出形容词以及对图片进行比较说出句型，学生可以在图片的帮助下更好的理解形容词的比较级。
简化难点。
为本课的学习做好了充分的准备。
生活经验：
六年级学生英语有了一定的基础，大部分学生对英语学习还有着浓厚的兴趣，但也有少数学生由于遇到困难，学习兴趣也随之减弱。
尤其这学期要进行综合整合，要求学生听说读写练能力的综合运用，在重基础的前提下适当拓展。
效果分析
本课的教学中，教师把握重点，让学生学会使用英语中形容词的比较级，并能熟练地将其运用到实际生活中，询问身边人的身高，并用比较级来回答。
学习了主要句型:
I’m...It’stallerthanbothofustogether.I’mtallerthan……。
新授词汇都巧妙第融入到新句型中，这样使学生在真实的英语语言情境中更好地感知、体验、和操练新单词和新句型。
六年级学生在生活中对询问和描述他人的身高的交际话题并不陌生，老师在本课教学中引导学生运用形容词的比较级来回答。
在教学中，老师让学生用新句型造句，用大量的情境对话操练来强化所学，以帮助学生内化课本语言并锻炼他们的语言组织能力和口语表达能力，进一步培养其综合语言运用能力。
同时句型的操练应以学生日常的生活为载体，设计发朋友圈的场景，这样使学生感到更有兴趣，并能在生活中加以运用，教师在组织语言时，注意设计生活化与功能化并用的语言任务，正确把握好教材编者的意图。
在情感教育方面，教师结合教学内容引导学生放眼看世界，世界非常丰富多彩，探索世界吧。
单元整体教材分析
本单元主要学习了一些简单形容词比较级例如：
taller,shorter,younger,older,stronger,bigger,heavier,longer等。
在这里学习两个事物如何进行比较，以及形容词比较级的表示法，特别记住一些比较特殊的表示法。
本单元的中心话题是询问身边的人或事物的年龄、身高、重量及长度并做比较。
