Someadsarenotveryusefultocustomers.Insteadofhelpingthecustomertosatisfyhisrealneeds,theysetouttomakehimwantthingsbydoingadscleverly.Thepeoplewhoproducethemunderstandourweaknesses.Theysetouttomakeusbelievethatwhattheyadvertisewillmakeuscleverer,prettier,ormorehandsome,ifonlyweuseit.Forexample,thevoiceonTVsays,“ByusingSK-II,itmakesyourskincrystal.”Thescreenshowsaseriesofpicturesinwhichafamousactressnotonlyhasherskinwhitenedbutalsohasherpronouncedwrinklessilkilysmoothed.Someladieswithdarkskinwillbepersuadedtochoosethatcosmetic(化妆品).

Nowadayswecanseeadvertisementseverywhere,suchasonTV,inthenewspapers,ontheInternetandsoon.Nobodycanavoidbeinginfluencedbythem.Whyisadvertisingsopopular?
Undoubtedly,withthedevelopingcompetitiveecnomy,therearemanysimilarproductsfromdifferentcompaniesanditisadsthatcanhelpthecustomershaveabetterchoicewhentheywanttobuytheproducts.
Somepeopleareinfavorofadvertisementsbecausetheycangetthelatestanddetailedinformationneededmoreconvenientlythroughthem.Moreover,somepeopleenjoythestoriesandideasintheads.However,somehatethemforthereasonthatsomefalseadvertisementsmisleadthecustomersbyusingpartofthetruthtosuggestsomethingfalse.Worsestill,byusingthefamousstarsforadvertising,itmakesthepricesmuchhigher.
Inmyopinion,theadvertisementisanecessityinmodernsociety.Towardsit,acorrectattitudeshouldbeheld:
letadvertisementsserveourlife,butnevereasilybelievethem.
