2.Structureandworkingprinciple

Thekilnshellismadeofrolledsteelplates,internalsurfaceofshellislinedwithrefractory,thekilnshellisarrangedwithaslightslopesupportedbysupportrollerdevicesthrough3tyres.Thegirthgearisinstalledonthekilnshellwithinthespannearthekilninletbytangentspringplates.Thereisapinionwhichmesheswiththegirthgearunderit.Duringnormaloperation,themaindrivemotortransmitspowertomainreducer,pinion,girthgearandfinallydrivethekilnshell.

Thematerialentersthekilnfromthekilninlet.Asthekilnshellisobliqueandrotatesslowly,thematerialtumblescircumferentiallyandmovesaxiallyfromtheinlettotheoutletsimultaneously.Atthesametimethematerialissubjectedtocalciningandsinteringprocesses.Finally,theclinkerproducedfallsintothecoolerthroughthekilnhood.

Thefuelisinjectedintothekilnatthekilnhead,Theexhaustgasproducedduringburningisdrawnoutthroughthekilninletafteritsheatexchangewiththematerial.Theburnerisnotincludedinthedesign.

2.1Themainstructurecharacteristicsofthekilnareasfollows:

2.1.1Thekilnshellismadeofrolledlow-carbonsteelplatesQ235C,anditisusuallyweldedautomatically.Thicknessofshell:

28mmforgeneralplate,32mmforthesinteringzone,75/80mmundertyres、42/55mmfortransitionplatesbetweenthe75/80mmand28/32mmplates.Thisarrangementofshellthicknessisinmorereason,itcanguaranteeboththeradialrigidityandlongitudinalflexibilityofshell.Attheinletendandtheoutletend,thekilnshellsectionsareequippedrespectivelywiththenoseringsegmentsmadeofheat-resistantandwear-resistantsteel.Attheoutlet,thereisaring-shapedspacebetweenthekilnshellandcoolingairsleeve,thecoolingairfromhornopeningisblownontothenon-workingsurfaceofthenosering,thatisofbenefittoincreasethispartservicelife.Therearethreesolidrectangulartypetyresonthekilnshell.Theclearancesbetweenthetyreandthetyresupportpaddependsonthethermalexpansion:

Duringthekilnoperation,thetyrecanbeputonthekilnwithsuitabledegreeoftightnesstoreducetheradialdeformationofkilnshellandincreaserigidityofshell.

2.1.2Thehydraulicthrustrollerdeviceisappliedtoundertakesdownwardsslidingforceofkilnshell,anditcanpushthekilnshellmovingup.Therightarrangementofspanscanmakedesignofeverysupportrollerdevicemorereasonable.Everysupportrollerbearinggroupisequippedwithonetemperaturemeteringdevicetomeasuringtheworkingtemperatureofbush,theworkingtemperatureoflubricationoilcanbedisplayedonsiteandmonitoredinthecentralcontrolroom.

2.1.3Thesingledrivesystemisadoptedforthekiln.ThekilnisdrivenbythespecialhighstartingtorqueDCgovernormotorthroughthethreestagehardened-surfacespurgearreducer,thendriveopeningmatedgearofkiln,thisdrivedeviceadoptsdiaphragmcouplingtoimprovthestabilityofdrive.Thedrivesystemisalsoprovidedwiththeauxiliarydrivedeviceconnectingtoemergencypowersource,inordertoensurethekilninchingtopreventthekilnfrombendingwhenthemainpowersourceiscut-offsuddenlyandeasymaintenance.

Duringnormaloperationwhenthemainmotorisonthejawclutchdisconnecttheauxiliarydrivefrommaingearbox,Signalissendouttocentralcontrolroom,Theauxiliarydriveisnotallowedtostart.Ontheotherhandwhentheauxiliarymotorisonjawclutchconnecttheauxiliarydrivewithmaingearbox.Signalissendouttocentralcontrolroom,Theauxiliarydriveisnotallowedtostart.

Themainmotorisfurnishedwithtachogeneratortoindicatetheactualrotationspeedofkiln.

3.Installationrequirements

Beforeinstallation,thecorrelativedrawingsandtechnicaldocumentsshouldbestudiedtounderstandtheequipmentstructuresandinstallationrequirements.Afterthis,determinetheinstallationorderandmethod,preparethenecessaryinstallationtoolsandequipments.Afterwards,workoutaninstallationplan,finallycarryouttheinstallationwiththebestofprepare.

3.1Checkfoundation,drawdatumlines

3.1.1Correctthedrawings,andmeasurethelengthsofalltheshellsections.Thinkaboutclearanceandweldingcontractionofeveryinterface,itisusually2mm,thencalculatetheactualdistancesbetweentwonearbytyres,afterthatcalculatethecorrespondingthermalexpansions,finally,calculatethedistancesbothalongthekilnaxisandalongthehorizontaldirectionbetweennearbysupportrollerdevices,thencorrectthecorrelativedimensionsindrawings.

3.1.2Accordingtothecorrecteddrawings,checkthefoundationdimensions,especially,thedistanceoffoundationcenter.Ifthereisanydeviation,thefollowingmeasuresshouldbetaken:

3.1.2.1Ifthedimensiondeviationsarelessthan5mmbetweenthecorrecteddrawingsandthefoundation,itisallowed;

3.1.2.2Iftheabovementioneddeviationsare5~10mm,thegapsbetweenthenearbyshellsectionscanbeadjusted.Theinterfacegapcanbeadjustedintherangeof1~3mm;

3.1.2.3Iftheabovementioneddeviationsislargerthan10mm,besidestheshellsectionsinterfacegapadjustment,thepositionsofsupportrollerdevicesshouldbeadjusted.Accordingtotheactualdimensionsafteradjustment,correctthedistancedimensionsalongthekilnaxisbetweenthenearbysupportrollerdevicesindrawings,calculatethecorrespondingdimensionsalonghorizontaldirection.Measurethedimensionsofsupportrollersandbearings,correcttheelevationdimensionsoftopgeneratinglineofsupportrollerworkingsurfaces.

3.1.3Foundationmarkout

3.1.3.1Markthehorizontaldatumlineonthesidesurfaceoffoundationapproximately1mfromtheground.Theelevationplatesareburiedatthefourcornersofthefoundations.Theelevationdeviationofbaselevelmustbelessthan0.5mm;

3.1.3.2Markthelongitudinalcenterline,thedeviationsmustbelessthan0.5mm;

3.1.3.3Accordingtothecorrecteddrawings,markthefoundationtransversecenterlinesonthehorizontaldatumlinesforallthefoundations.Thedeviationsofcenterdistancebetweenthetwonearbysupportrollerdevicecentersshouldnotbelargerthan1.5mm,thedeviationofcenterdistancebetweenthefoundationcenterclosetotheinletandthefoundationcenterclosetotheoutletshouldnotbelargerthan3mm.

3.2Installationofsupportrollerdevices

Whetherthekilncenterlinemaintainsastraightlineduringthekilnoperation,itdependson:

firstly,thelocationsofsupportrollerdevices.Therefore,moreattentionshouldbepaidtotheinstallationofsupportrollerdevices.Thefollowingrequirementsmustbesatisfiedfortheinstallationofsupportrollerdevices:

3.2.1Afterthesensitiveadjustmentofbaseplate,thefollowingrequirementshouldbefollowed:
