Overviewofthesolarinverters
A powerinverter,or inverter,isan electricalpowerconverter thatchanges directcurrent (DC)to alternatingcurrent (AC).[1] Theinputvoltage,outputvoltage,andfrequencyaredependentondesign.
Staticinvertersdonotusemovingpartsintheconversionprocess.Someapplicationsforinvertersincludeconverting high-voltagedirectcurrent electricutility linepowertoAC,andderivingACfromDCpowersourcessuchas batteries.
