granodiorites.Theinclosingrocksarerepresentedbyvolcanic-sedimentaryformationsoftheUpperMiddleVise.Residuumsofanaveragethicknessof40mare
developedovertheinfoldedbasementrocks;
theyareoverlappedbysandy-clayeysedimentsoftheNeogene-Quaternaryupto20mthick.
Allvarietiesofintrusiverockshaveundergonesignificanthydrothermalalterations,expressedbysilicification,sericitizationandepidotizationwhichconfinethemostintensesulphidemineralization.
Asaresultofexplorationdrillingat400x200mgrid,74-94mthickmineralizationwithacoppergradeof0.3to0.74%andgoldgradeof0.1-0.2g/twasdetected.ThemineralizationislocalizedbothintheintrusiverocksofthePaleozoicbasement(primaryores)andintheproductsoftheirweathering(oxidized).Primaryoresaretracedwiththeholestoadepthof226m,oxidized–to30m.Themineralizationintheresiduumisricherthaninthebedrock,accordingtocommercialcomponentsgrade.
