Therefore,listeningtostudents’constructivesuggestions,teacherswillhaveabetterideaofwhatstudents’needsareandcanthenadjusttheirteachingtomeetthem.

4.Theauthorityanddignityofteachersareseverelychallengedandshaken,whichisunfavorabletothetraditionalteachingandlearningprocess.

5.Criticismdoesmoreharmthangoodtoteachers’confidenceanddignity.

6.Studentsarenotmatureenoughintellectually,mentallyandpsychologically,andthereforetheyarenotalwayslikelytomakecorrect,objectiveandfairevaluationoftheirteachers.Theirevaluationmaynotreflectthetruesituation.

Forinstance,someteachersmaybeverystrictwiththeirstudentsandasaresultsomestudentsmaydislikethem.Thosestudentssometimestakeadvantageofthisopportunitytotakerevengeontheirteachersbygivingthemverylowscores.

7.Theunfairandbiasedevaluationwillfrustratethededicatedteachersandsomeofthemmayteachwithreserveandgivedisrespectfulstudentslowscores.

8.Thispracticeisemotionallydamaginganditdeliberatelyalienatesteachersfromthestudents.Thegapbetweenthemwillbeenlarged.

9.Teachersworkundergreatpressureandthisevaluationsystemwillundoubtedlyaddtotheirstrain.
