ISEATRIALOFHULLPART

I-1GENERAL

（1）Allteststobecarriedoutwhenallsystemsandancillarieshavebeencompletedandmooringtestshavebeendone.

（2）Ingeneral,zigzag-maneuvertest,turningcircletest,inertiatest,crashstopaheadtest,vibrationtest,noisemeasurementandwilliamsonturntestshouldbecarriedoutonlyforfirstvessel,andtheabovementionedtestsshouldbeomittedforsecondandsubsequentships（pending）.

I-2TestConditionandPlace

Thevesselistobeballastedtotheballastconditionandfollowingtrialstobeperformed.BeforeProgressiveSpeedTrial,thedrafts（foredraftis7.18m,aftdraftis9.18m（displacementabout80800m3））shouldbeverifiedbytheremotedraftreadingonboard,whichiscalibratedandconfirmedbyownerduringtheIncliningExperiment.

Theprogressivespeedtrialtobecarriedoutincalmsea,withsmallwindforce.IfthewindforceexceedsBeaufortscale3,windandshallowwatercorrectionshouldbeappliedaccordingtoBSRAmethod.

I-3ProgressiveSpeedTrial（SeeTableH-1）

（1）Theprogressivespeedtrialistobecarriedoutunderthefollowingfiveworkingconditions.

（2）Beforespeedtrialtheloadadjustmentaccordingtoloadingrequirements,draftgaugeandmeasurementofseawaterspecificgravitytobecarriedout.

（3）Thedepthofwaterinseatrialareatobemorethan80m.Exceptcondition5,Eachspeedtrialistoconsistoftwoconsecutiverunsalongandagainstthetideoverthesamecourseandthespeed,mainengineratingandrevolutionshallbeobtainedasthemeanvalueofthetwoconsecutiverunsateachconditionasshowninthefollowingformula:

V=（V1+V2）/2,P=（P1+P2）/2,N=（N1+N2）/2

Speedmeasureistobecarriedout1nauticalmiledistanceforeachrun.Beforearrivingatthespeed-measuringareathevesselshallrunasufficientdistanceofabt.3nauticalmilesinorderthatthemainenginehasrunatstableoutputsbeforethespeedmeasurementcommences.Duringspeedmeasuringwithintestsectioncoursedeviationshallbenotmorethan2degrees,steeringangleshallbenotmorethan±

5degrees.

（4）Speed-measuringmethod

ThetrialspeedistobemeasuredbyDGPS.Theoutputshaftpowerandrevolutionofmainenginetobemeasuredbytorsionmeter.Theinstrumentswhichusedinthetestshouldhavethecertificationofverificationbeforespeedtrials.

（5）Measurementrecord
