ThereareirreconcilableconflictsbetweenChristianityandotherreligions.ChristianityisatoddswithotherviewsofGod,thenatureofman,heaven,andsalvation.Thelawofnoncontradictionsaysthatiftwostatementsaboutoneparticularissuecontradicteachother,then

（1）onlyoneofthemistrue,or

（2）theyarebothfalse.Theycannotbothbetrueinthesamesenseandatthesametime.Truth,bydefinition,isexclusive.

tolerant"

ofanyotheravenuetosalvation.Asincerelyheldbeliefofanotherroadtosalvationdoesnotnecessarilymeanitistrue.Sinceritydoesnotdeterminetruth.Itwouldbecrueltotellablindmanontheedgeofacliffthatitdoesn'

tmatterwhichwayhesteps,aslongasheissincere.Apositioncanbenarrowandwrong,oritcanbenarrowandright.Whiletoleranceinpersonalrelationshipsisavirtue,toleranceintruthisatravesty.
