TeenwriterswilljointhreeMasterWriters-in-Residence,oneineachofthefollowingforms—poetry,fiction,andnonfiction.ThementorshipwiththeMasterWriters-in-Residencewillbethefocus,butthechancetohaveconversationswiththeotherVisitingWritersandparticipatingTeenWriterswillbevaluable.

ClassesmeetMonday—Fridayfortwohoursofworkshops.Teenwriterswillhavetheopportunitytofocusononeformofliterature,whilealsoexploringtheotherformsthroughworkshopsandconversation.

Admission

Theselectionprocessfortheuniqueliteraryresidencyopportunitywillbecompetitive.AtlanticCenterreceivestheapplications,andthejudgesevaluatewritingsamples.Asclasssizesarekeptsmalltoprovidethehighestqualityinstruction,notallqualifiedwritersmaybeaccepted.
