Lesson17InterestingAnimals

本课的教学设计分为两课时。

第一课时在复习、学习身体部位名称（多为二级词汇，主要为复习）的基础上，侧重对阅读文本的理解，引导学生通过阅读获取动物体貌的基本信息，获取并整理这两种动物的特殊性。

在阅读活动中，培养学生获取关键信息和总结信息的阅读策略，体验连词and、or在简单句中，以及and、so、but在并列复合句中的用法，通过不断内化信息和语言，最后进行基于阅读文本信息的语言输出活动。

第二课时在复习课文内容和语言的基础上，引导学生归纳总结本课的语法——简单句和并列复合句，关注他们的基本结构，理解and、or、but、so的表意功能和语用特征，在不同语境下进行多层次的练习。

最后运用本课所学词汇及语法功能，结合本课话题，描述一个自己喜欢的动物。
