很高兴站在这里做这篇短小的演讲，我演讲的主题是青年是祖国的未来。

WhenpreparingfortheEnglishspeechcontest,Isimplywanttosearchsomearticlesasthecontentsofmyspeech.Ireadalotofarticles,somefromtheuniversityprofessor,somefromthefamoushost,somefromthecollegestudents,andevenfromjuniorhighschoolstudents.Butafterreadingit,Igaveuptheidea,Ievenfeltshameful.Today,theto/pic/monaspirationofallourChinese.EveryChinesehashisowndreamofChina,andofcourse,thereisadreamlingeringinmyheartonlybelongstomyown.

在准备英语演讲比赛的时候，我本想简单地从网上搜索一些sick,andmyfriendswillgotogetherwithmesidebysidethroughthisjourneyoflife.

Asstudents,wecouldsharemoretimewithourfriends.Thefriendshipinouryoungheartsispure,freshandsimple.Ioftenfeelveryluckytohavealotofgoodfriends.EspeciallywhenIhadJustinasoneofmybestfriends.JustinwasmyEnglishteacherfromtheUSA.Imethimin1996whenIwasastudentwhocouldonlyspeakverylittleEnglish.Justinwasavividyoungmanwithabrightsmileonhisface,andhealwayshadhisspecialwaytomaketheclassactiveandattractive.HetaughtusEnglishbytellingstories,playinggames,singingsongs,andevendancing.

Icouldstillrememberveryclearlythatoneafternoonwhenwefin-ishedourclass,wewenttosomeotherclassestosingsongsforthem,justlikewhatpeopledointhestatesonChristmasEve.Itwassointerestingandunforgettable.Justinwasanexcellentteacher,becausehetaughtusnotonlyhowtostudyEnglishwell,butalsothewaytofindoutthebeautyoftheworldandthewaytobeangelstoothers’lives.Iknowtherewasfriendshipandpureloveinourhearts.Facingthisvaluableemotionneithernationalitynoragewasimportant,therealimportancelayinfaith,under-standing,andcare.JustinisthebestfriendIhaveeverhad,andIknowIwillcherishthosedaysofstayingtogetherwithhimasthebestpartofmymemory.

Friendshipisakindoftreasureinourlives.Itisactuallylikeabottleofwine,thelongeritiskept,thesweeteritwillbe.Itisalsolikeacupoftea.Whenwearethirsty,itwillbeourbestchoice,butwhenwehaveenoughtimetoenjoyourselves,itisalsothemostfragrantdrink.

However,inthisfast-developingmodernsociety,therealityisnotthat.Moreandmorepeopleforgettoenjoythebeautyoflifeand-thebeautyoffriendship.Theyworkhardinordertogainahigherposition,inthesocietyandtoearnmoremoneyfortheirwork.Ofcourse,wedon’tdenythatitisimportanttofindabet-terplaceinourlives,butwewishmoreandmorepeoplecouldpayalittlemoreattentionto

themselvesandtheirfriends.Allofushavetosparesometimeforpersonallives.Wehavetofindthechancetoexpressouremotionandlove.Whenstayingwithourfriends,wecanreleaseourselvescompletely.Wecandowhateverwewant,wecanlaughtogether,talktogether,andevencryto-gether.Ishouldsaythatbeingtogetherwithourbestfriendsisthemostwonderfulmomentofourlives.

Asweknow,wewouldfeellonelyifwedidn’tevenhaveafriend.Butitdoesn’tmeanwecoulddependonourfriendsallthetime.Thereisafamousmottosayingthat“Afriendislikeaquiltwithcottonwadding,buttherealthingthatkeepsyouwarmisyourowntemperature.”Itisreallytrue.Wehavetoworkhardtogetherwithourfriends,encourageeachotherandhelpeachother.Whenwereceiveloveandfriendship,weshouldrepayasmuchaswecan.

Finally,let’spraytogethernowthatoneday,allofuscouldfindthepersonwewanttofind,andcouldenjoyarealbeautifulfriendshipinourlives.Let’spraythefloweroffriendshipbe-tweenourfriendsanduswouldalwaysbloombrightlyinourhearts.
