教学目标

本课程是一门专业核心课程。

着重培养学生在商务活动各领域中运用英语的技巧和能力。

教学内容与商务活动紧密联系，使学生在掌握语言技能的同时，了解现代国际商务的现状，提高其运用英语进行口头及书面商务交际的能力。

在基础英语教学的基础上，将词汇、语法的学习和语言技能训练同商务话题紧密结合，以达到在体验商务中学习语言、提高商务交际能力的目的。

教材是教育部普通高等教育“十一五”国家级规划教材，是体现高等职业教育英语教学改革成果与教学实践经验的实用型综合英语阅读教程，符合高等职业学校学生的学习特点与认知规律。

教学重点

以市场需求和就业为导向，体现“实用英语”这一职业英语教育特点。

教学中以“日常生活中的商务”和“工作环境中的商务”为主题，内容做到浅显易懂，注重涉外语言交际的典型性、实用性、思想性、时代感、趣味性、可模拟性和可操作性。

同时在教学中做到：

1．以任务为导向，提高学生英语运用能力

2．重视听说，加强表达、突出实用阅读性

4．学一点，会一点，用一点

5．精讲多练，讲为练，练为用

教学难点

1.熟悉和掌握各种阅读技巧，提高阅读速度

2.培养学生运用各种阅读技巧从商务文章和材料中获取相关商务信息的能力
