1.Visualandmechanicalinspection

Bothavisualandmechanicalinspectionwillbeperformedforthecabinets.Theinspectionsmustbeperformedafterthefinalassemblyandinconnectionwiththefinaltestingbeforedeliverytothecustomer.

1.1Frame

1.1.1Wall,roof,doorandfloorconstructions

Checkthattheframe,floor,wallandcableleadthroughsareassembledcorrectly.Checkalsothatconstructionsaremadeaccordingtotheassemblyandconstructiondrawingsandpartslist

1.1.2Generalsurfacetidiness

Checkthecabinet’sgeneralconditionvisually.Seeespecially:

∙Faultlesspaintwork(noscratchesorblemishes)

∙Tidinessofcoveringparts

∙Correctlocationsofmarksandlabels(mustbedownrightandinrightplaces).

1.1.3Gaskets

Checkthatdoor,roofandwallgasketsaremountedasshowninassemblyandconstructiondrawings(nottoosharpcornersorvisibleairgaps).

1.1.4Cableleadthroughs,supportsandcustomercables

Checkthatcablesaresupportedcorrectlyandthatthereareenoughbolts,nutsandwashers(alloutputandinputterminals,alsoPE-busbar).

1.1.5Protectionclass

Checkthatthecabinet’sIP-protectionclassissufficient(IP54whendoorsareclosedandIP20whendoorsareopen).

1.2Componentsanddevices

1.2.1Busbars

Checkthatallbusbarsareattachedcorrectly.Seeespecially:

∙Busbarbending's(nofractures)

∙Busbarcustomerinterfacesurfaces(mustbeclean)

∙Busbarmountings(checkboltmarkings->tightenifneeded)

∙Electricmountingsofbusbars(checkthattheorder,quantityandqualityofscrewsandwasherscorrespondtotheassemblyinstructions.Seealsothatpowerconnectionboltsaremarkedwithwhiteline)

∙Supportofbusbarsandinsulations(Incorrectplace,seedrawings,attachedandundamaged)

∙Busbarssurfaces(nometalrefuse)

∙Electricconnectionsmadeaccordingtotheinstructions(TJHandBook3AFE001750).

1.2.2Groundings

Check,thatgroundingwires’colour,cross-sectionalareasandgroundingpointsarecorrect,seeassemblyinstructions.

Checkthatthegroundingsofdevices(suchastransformers,powersupplyunitsandfans)aremadeaccordingtogroundinginstructions3AFE002495and3AFE002474andalsoaccordingtocircuitdiagrams.

Checkthatdoorgroundingsaremade(connectionstothecabinetframe),ifelectricaldeviceshavingasupplyvoltageof>50Vareassembled(emergencyswitchesorotherswitches).

Checkmanuallythatconnectionsbetweenthegroundingwiresandgroundingbarsarereliable(nolooseconnections,wiresdonotdetachwhenyoupull/wigglethem).

1.2.3Cablesandwirings

Checkthatwiringsaremadeaccordingtothewiringtable.Seealsothatcabletypes,cross-sectionalareasandcoloursarecorrect.

Connectors

Checkthatcableterminals,suchasflatshapedconnectors,cableshoesandcablesleevesaremadeaccordingtotheinstructions.Check,thattheconnectorsaresuitableforthecableandthatacorrecttoolhasbeenusedforthecablecompression.Seealso:

∙Insulationofthecablemustnotbeunderthecompressivepart

∙Cablefibersareundamaged

∙Allfibersareinsidetheconnector

∙Connectorsareundamaged

∙Cablemustbedeepenoughinsidetheconnectorandpartswithvoltagemustbehidden.

Connections

Checkthatcableconnectionsbetweendevicesandterminalblocksarecorrect.Seealsothatcablesarenotlocatednearsharpedgesorunprotectedelectricalparts.Checkthatsharpedgesareprotectedwithedgecovers.Seealso:

∙Cableconnections(tightenedtothecorrecttorque,donotloosenwhenmovingthecables)

∙Terminationofcablesisdonecorrectly,accordingtotheinstructions.

∙Barecableends(checkairgabsandshrouds)

∙Check,thatcableswhicharevulnerabletomalfunction,areterminatedcorrectly(leftcloseenoughtotheconnector).

Checkalso,thatcables’extramarkingsaremadeaccordingtothecircuitdiagram(cablemarkingsTJ-Handbook3AFE000492).

1.2.4Opticfibercable

Checkthatopticfibercablesaremountedaccordingtothewiringdiagram.Checkalsothatcabletypesareaccurateandthatthecablesarecompressedwithacorrecttool.

Checkvisuallythatopticfibercablebendingradiusisbiggerthan35mmorbiggestpossibleradius.

Checkthatopticfibercablemarkingsareaccordingtocircuitdiagram.

Ifnecessary,measuretheattenuationofthefibreswithadB-meter.

1.2.5Instrumentation

Checkthatinstrumentationanddevicemarksareaccordingtothepartlistandthattheyareassembledaccordingtotheinstructions.Alsocheckvisuallythatthepartsaremechanicallyundamaged.Seeespeciallythat:

∙Markingsindeviceconnectorsareinplace(accordingtoLableinstruction3AFE001706)

∙Layoutofdevicesinsidethecabinet(accordingtotheassemblydrawing).

∙Attachingofdevices(accordingtotheinstructions)

Optionsaresameasinthecabinet’sratingplate(explanationsforpluscodes3AFE00537823).

1.3Air-andsurfaceinsulationgaps

Checkthatairand/orsurfaceinsulationgapsbetweentwopoweredpartsorbetweenapoweredpartandthedeviceframearebiggerthanstatedinthetablebelow.

Checkthatthepipeassemblieshavepassedthewaterpressuretestintheassemblyphase(ATTACHMENT1)Passingofthetestisverifiedbysticker64353951,havingthenameofthetesterandthetestingdatemarkedonit.Thestickermustbeclearlyvisibleontheframeofthecabinet.

1.5Markings

1.5.1Ratingplateandserialnumberlabel

Checkthatthecabinet’sratingplateisincorrectlocationandthatithasallneededmarkings.
