Thishasbeenprovedinpreviousstudiesinwhichparticipantswereshownimagesofthemselvesandaskedtomatchtheirfacialexpressionsinthepictures.Inmostcases,theyfailedtoaccuratelyproducethesamefacialexpressionswithoutbeingabletoseethemselvesinthemirror,accordingtoBBC.
