一、冠词的基本概念
不定冠词：
an/a
Ihaveastudent.

定冠词：
the
1）特别指出:

2）双方都知道的事情：

二、不定冠词a/an
（1）用法
表示类别,有“一”的意思,但没有one指数时的概念强烈,有时可不译出
Thereisacatinthetree。
树上有一只猫。
表示首次提到的人或事物
Anoldmanissittingunderthetree.
泛指某类事物或人,即以其中一个代表整体,与单数可数名词连用,此时不译为“一”
Thisisasheep,notagoat.这是绵羊,不是山羊。
用来表示时间、价格等,意为“每一”
Theteaiseightyyuanakilo.
用在序数词前,表示“再一次”
asecondcup再来一杯
表示职业、身份、宗教等

用于某些固定词组中

3、零冠词
在专有名词（包括人名、地名、节日、日期、星期、月份、季节）前不用冠词

TomorrowisFriday.
泛指表示一类人或事物的复数名词前不用定冠词
（特指时要用定冠词the）
Dogsareourbestfriends.
Thedogsarerunningafteracat.
物质名词和抽象名词表示一般概念时，通常不加冠词
（特指时要用定冠词the）
time时间；water水；fruit水果
人名、称呼语、头衔、职务等名词前，一般不加冠词
Mr.Wang
名词前有物主代词、指示代词、不定代词或名词所有格修饰时，不用冠词
Maybesheisinherroom.
ThatisMary'sbook.那是玛丽的书。
不用冠词的序数词
a.序数词前有物主代词时。
b.序数词作副词。
例如：
Hecamefirstintherace.他跑步得了第一。
c.在固定词组中，如at（the）first,firstofall,fromfirsttolast等。
在“by＋交通工具”中，不加冠词

四、有定冠词与无定冠词意义不同的情况
在某些短语中，如school，college，prison，market，hospital，bed，table，class，town，church，court等个体名词，直接置于介词后，表示该名词的深层含义。
如：
inclass在课堂intheclass在班里
gotoschool去上学gototheschool去学校
at/inschool在上学at/intheschool在学校里（不一定是学生）
inhospital住院inthehospital在医院里
attable在吃饭atthetable在桌子旁
bysea乘船bythesea在海边
inbed（睡、病、躺）在床上inthebed在床上
infrontof在（外部的）前面inthefrontof在（内部的）前面
onearth究竟ontheEarth在地球上
infuture今后inthefuture将来

五、冠词的数量
1）有两个冠词，表示两个不同的人或物。
例如：
Heraisesablackandawhitecat.他养了一只黑猫和一只白猫。
Theblackandthewhitecatsarehers.这黑猫和白猫都是她的。
Theteacherandwriterhasworkedherefor3years.
2）如只有一个冠词，则指一人或一物。
例如：
Heraisesablackandwhitecat.他养了一只花猫。
六、冠词的位置
1）不定冠词位置
不定冠词常位于名词或名词修饰语前。
但是注意：
a.位于such，what，many，half等形容词之后。
例如：
Ihaveneverseensuchananimal.我从来没见过这样的动物。
Manyamanisfitforthejob.许多人适合这岗位。
b.当名词前的形容词被副词as,so,too,how,however,enough修饰时，不定冠词应放在形容词之后。
例如：
ItisaspleasantadayasIhaveeverspent.我从未这么高兴过。
soshortatime如此短的时间
toolongadistance距离太远了
c.quite,rather与单数名词连用，冠词放在其后。
但当rather,quite前仍有形容词时，不定冠词放其前后均可，如：
ratheracoldday/arathercoldday。
d.在as,though引导的让步状语从句中，当表语为形容词修饰的名词时，不定冠词放形容词后。
例如：
Braveamanthoughheis，hetremblesatthesightofsnakes.他尽管勇敢，可见到蛇还是发抖。
2）定冠词位置
定冠词通常位于名词或名词修饰语前，但放在all,both,double,half,twice,threetimes等词之后，名词之前。
例如：
Allthestudentsintheclasswentout.班里的所有学生都出去了
