Lastweek,afterourgroup’sdiscussion,ourgroupborrowedfourbooksfromlibrary.Wewereverylucky.Thelibraryhadfourbooksaboutthisoneprecisely.Everyonehadonebook.ThetitleofthisbookisTheThreeMusketeers.Thisbookisahistoricalnovel（Historicalfictionisaspecificgenre,setinthepastandpertainingtohistoricaleventsorpeople,withcharacterswhoreactinvaryingdegreestohistoricalevents.Theworkmustwalkafinelinebetweenfactandfiction:

TherearethreemainthemesIthinkimportantinTheThreeMusketeers;Quests,Love,andBrotherhood. Likemanyyoungheroes,d'Artagnanisfirstandforemostonaquesttogainhisownfortune. Althoughhehasbeenbornintoroyalty,hestillmustprovehimselfworthyofthepositionofMusketeer. Withaidfromafriendofhisfather's hebecomesaguard,andbecauseofhisinquisitivenessandpride,heisabletoprovehisworthandbecomeaMusketeer.

AnaffairbetweentheQueenandBuckinghamalsoprovidesanotherquest,thistimefortheMusketeerstoconcealtheaffairandarrangeforthetwotohavesecretrendezvous'.However,therearequiteafewdiscussionsbetweenmoremodernreadersandthoseoftraditionsastowhetherthisismerelyatrivialmattercomparedtothepoliticalissuesofthetime. Onemustremember,however,thecodeofhonorthattheMusketeersbelievein,trueloveaboveallelse.
