教学内容：
Module4 Unit1 Let’s make a home library.
教学目标
1、知识目标:
（1）会读、写单词:
library，student,sent,CD,idea，put，shelf,heavy，dictionary,card，library card，ask，wrong，dear
（2）掌握句型：
Let’s make a home library.These are all books about science.
2、能力目标:
学生能运用所学句型提出意见，说明能做的事情.
3、情感目标:
学生能够积极地运用所学英语进行交流，并对建议作出适当反应.
教学重点：
掌握单词及句型:
library，sent, idea，put，shelf,heavy，dictionary,card，library card，ask，wrong，dear,Let’s make a home library.These are all books
about science.
教学难点：
能运用所学句型提出意见，说明能做的事情.
教学准备：
自制多媒体课件、单词卡片
教学过程：
Step1.Warmingup
1. Greetings!
（师生相互问好，拉近师生间距离，消除学生心中紧张情绪,营造和谐师生关系。
）
2.课件出示一些食物，T:
Which one do you like best?
Where can you find it ?
引导学生回答。
出示句型“You can go to the supermarket.”师随机肯定学生的建议Yes,that’s a good idea!
出示单词卡片“idea”指生认读单词和句子。
并引导生说“Let’s go to the supermarket.
Step2.Presentation

Do you like reading books?
全体学生回答：
Yes ,I do.T：
Ok!
We’ve got books for you.Now,let’s chant together.
2.课件出示一些书籍问生：
Where can you find these books?
（生可能会想到图书馆，我随即出示单词卡片“library”让生跟读单词，并指生单独认读单词，课件会出示一句不完整的句子“Let’s....随机指学生说出完整的句子。
3.T:
We can find the books in the library.But we need a card .引导学生说出借书证，随机学习“library card”T:
We can take a library card to borrow a book in the library.（课件出示图书馆借书的图片）These are the library card for children.
4.师指向教室里的书橱介绍书架A、B、C,出示单词卡片“shelf”，生跟读，模仿读。
课件出示问题：
Where are the books about English,please?
Where are thebooks
about Chinese,please?
引导回答：
They’re on Shelf ....课件出示语句学生读一读。

There are many kinds of books .Let’s make a home library.Now today we’ll

Step3.Learning the text
1.Look at these pictures and listen to the E-pen.
2.Listen again and find the sentences with “Let’s ”
3.Listen and answer these questions.

（3）Does John find the books about animals?
（4）How does John say?
（5）Where are the books about computers,please?

教学内容分析：
本节课是外研版三起第六册Module5 Unit 1 It’s big and light.教学内容所涉及的语言功能是用英语（形容词）描述事物的性质、特征。
本节课是本模块的第一课时。
通过本课的学习,学生不仅巩固了曾学过的相关形容词而且应能够用英语描述事物的特征、比较事物，以及为学习Unit2和今后的进一步学习打下良好的语言基础。
学情分析：
五年级学生已学了近三年的英语，故有一定的基础。
能够掌握一些简单的形容词，例如big,small,fat,thin,short,tall,long 等。
但是五年级的孩子已经不像三、四年级学生对英语充满好奇，甚至产生了厌学的情绪，为此，我采用了在任务型教学过程中渗入TPR和“小组对抗赛”的评价方法，让学生动起来、让课堂活起来，让学生轻松学英语。
教学目标：
一、知识目标
1.词汇：
light heavy broken pocket

It’s big and light. It’s got two pockets.
二、能力目标
能在创设的情境中描述物品的特征并表达自己的看法。

三、情感态度与价值观
1. 有兴趣听说英语，做游戏，乐于开口，敢于模仿
2. 培养孩子的观察力、注意力，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，并让学生对完成任务有一定的信心。

用儿歌的形式复习和巩固新词和新句型，孩子在轻松愉快的学习氛围中，就记住了新知。
