MarkTwainstartedwritingachildren'sstorycalledTheAdventuresofHuckleberryFinnin1876.Itsthemeistodowiththefreedomofhumans.However,hedidn'tquestiontheslavery（奴隶制度）inthebookandneverthoughtofgivingfreedomtoslaves.Thisbehaviourhasbeentalkedaboutmanytimesbylaterreviewers.

MarkTwainlikedtotellsomeinterestingstoriestomakepeoplelaughallthetime.Onedayhewasgoingtoasmalltown.Oneofhisfriendssaidthattherewerealotofmosquitoes（蚊子）inthetownandtoldhimthathe'dbetternotgothere.MarkTwainwavedhishandandsaid,“Itdoesn'tmatter.Themosquitoesareveryclever.Theyaren'trelationsofmine.Whywilltheycometovisitme？
