Abstract:
ThedampingbehaviorsofFe-13Cr-2.5MoalloyatambienttemperaturesandtheACmagneticfieldaretestedwiththeimprovedreversaltorsionmachine.TheprecipitationsdistributingintheannealedalloyarealsoobservedwithSEM.Theresultsshowthatbecausethedefectionsdecreaseduringtheannealingtreatment,causingahigherdampingcapacityofthisalloy.Thisdampingdropslinearlyto63%whentheambienttemperaturechangesfrom23oCto500oC,resultingfromthegradualdecreaseofferromagnetism.Ontheotherhand,theACmagneticfieldcausesthedampingcapacitytodropsharply,andfinallyitreachesamuchlowerlevel.

Abstract:
ThedampingcapacityofFe-7Al-0.5Tialloyannealedatdifferenttemperaturewasmeasuredbyreversaltorsionapparatus.Thewater-basedmagneticfluidwasusedtoanalyzethevariationofmagneticdomainstructure.TheprecipitationalongthegrainboundarywasinvestigatedbySEM.Theresultsshowthatthereexistsadampingpeakwhenthealloyisannealedat1000°Cfor2handwater-cooled.Theinternalstressanddefectsdecreasewiththeincreaseofheattreatmenttemperatureandthismakesmagneticdomainswiderandmoreorderly,butthecarbidescontainingTiprecipitatealongthegrainboundarieswhichcauselocalcomponentsandstructureheterogeneousnessintheseareas.Asaresult,themagneticdomainsarenarrower,thedomainboundarymotionisobstructed,andtheimprovementofdampingcapacityofthisalloyisalsoaffected.

Abstract:
Theinfluenceofsecondarycarbidesprecipitationandtransformationonhardeningbehaviorofa14Cr-1Mo-1.5Vcastironinsub-criticaltreatmentwasstudiedusingopticalmicroscope(OM),transmissionelectronmicroscopy(TEM)andX-raydiffraction(XRD).Theresultsshowedthatwhenalloysubjectedtosub-criticaltreatmentat833K,therearetwohardeningpeak.Martensitetransformationand(Fe,Cr)23C6precipitationfromaustenitematrixinsub-criticalheattreatmentarethereasonsforappearanceofthefirsthardening,whileMoC,and(Cr,V)2Cprecipitationsand/ortransformationfromM23C6causethealloysecondaryhardening.Buttheinsitutransformationof(Fe,Cr)23C6toM3Ccarbidescausesthepearlitematrixformationthatworsenthebulkhardness.

Abstract:
UsingGleeble1500Dthermalsimulationequipment,theeffectofpressureonthelowtemperaturecombustionsynthesisprocessof55%(wt)(Ti+C)-45%(wt)Fesystemandmicrostructurefeaturesoftheproductswerestudiedinthisstudy.TheresultsshowthattheignitiontemperatureofFe-Ti-Csystemcanbedecreasedgreatlyundertheactionofelectricfieldsandgreatthermaldensity.Thepressurehaslargeeffectonthesynthesisreaction,asmallpressurewillcausethedecreasingofignitiontemperatureandsmallsizeofTiC,butexcessivehighpressurewillcausetheincreasingofignitiontemperatureandbigsizeofTiC.Moreover,theeffectofpressureonthedelaytimeofignitionissimilartotheignitiontemperature,andtheeffectofpressureonthehighesttemperatureissmallrelatively.However,thepressurehasalittleinfluenceinproducts,allofthemconsistofFe,TiCandalittleFe2Ti.
