oxide,andozone.Certainhumanactivities,however,addtothelevelsofmostofthesenaturallyoccurringgases.

Verypowerfulgreenhousegasesthatarenotnaturallyoccurringincludehydrofluorocarbons

（HFCs）,perfluorocarbons（PFCs）,andsulfurhexafluoride（SF6）,whicharegeneratedina

varietyofindustrialprocesses.

Eachgreenhousegasdiffersinitsabilitytoabsorbheatintheatmosphere.HFCsandPFCs

arethemostheat-absorbent.
