Infact,aregular6-foot-tallmanlivingwithhischildgainedanaverageof4.4poundsafterbecomingadadforthefirsttime,accordingtothestudy.Therewasonlyaslightdifferenceforthenonresidentdads.Thosefathersgained,onaverage,3.3pounds.Meanwhile,nonfatherslost1.4poundsoverthesameperiod.
