三TeachingReflection

Oneofthetypicalfeaturesofthislessonisthe‘student-centered’teachingnotion.That’stosay,Itrytomakethestudentstobethecenterof

theclass.Insteadofbeingpassivelisteners,thestudentsareactiveincommunicatingwitheachother.Theylearnbydoingthings,byfulfillingthetasksassignedbytheteacher,studentspracticethefourskillsoflearningEnglish,andlearnhowtocooperateandcommunicatewitheachother.Whiletheteacher,insteadofjustfillingknowledgeintostudents’mind,isanorganizer,apartner,ahelperandanevaluator.

Anotherfeatureofthislessonisthatteachertriestousevariousmeantolivenuptheclassandarousethestudents’interestinlanguagelearningInmyopinionanEnglishteachershouldneverborehisclasswithdulllecture,adullteacherisn’tagoodteacher.

Forexample,Inthisclass,thesongisattheendoftheclass,asongisarrangedattheverybeginningoftheclass,theothersongisattheendoftheclasswhichaimtocreatewarmatmosphereandrelaxstudents.

Visualaidssuchasphotosofmyfamily,famousstars’cartoonfamilyphotosarealsousedtocreatevividandinterestingsituations,inwhichstudentscanlearnEnglisheasilyandvoluntarily.

Drawingstudents’familymembersonthepaperisusedintheclasswhichgreatlyarousethestudents’interestofUsingthetargetlanguageandgreatlyliveuptheclassroomatmosphere.Italsomakesstudentstakeanactivepantintheteachingactivities.

Theclasswillmakestudents’learningmotivatingandsuccessfulthroughmystep-by-stepprogressionthatbuildsstudents’confidence.StudentscanactivelyrelatetheirlearningtotheirpersonallivesThey’llbehappytheycanintroducetheirfamiliesinEnglish.
