Its helpful to arouse students interest to learn English and it will also be helpful to improve students ability of listening and speaking.:Teacher key points :Teach some English words about family members .Teach students to introduce his (he

3、r) family and others families.:Teaching difficult pointsDevelop students ability of speaking English and cultivate their good sense of the English language.(二)Teaching objectives 1.Knowledge objectives :Learn to introduce their family members . Read new words :father mother parents brother sister fr

4、iend grandfather grandmother grandparents .2.Ability objectives a:To improve Ss abilities of listening 、speaking 、reading and writing.b:To train Ss ability of expressing c:To develop Ss ability of communication by using the target language .3.Moral objectives :a:To arouse students interest to learn

5、English .b:To foster students awareness of competition and cooperation .c:To make students love their parents 、their relatives and all the people around them .(三)Teaching and learning methods In this lesson ,I will use the following methods to help students learn English .1 Task-based teaching metho

6、d .2 Communicative teaching method .3 Situational teaching method.As this is a topic about family .I would like then to relate their learning to the real lives. The communication tasks will involve students in mental processes . Drawing their own family and talking about some stars and cartoons fami

7、lies will make students more active .Students will be provided enough opportunities to use English freely .Thus students will have an effective learning environment.CAI. Multi media will also be used to expend the content and promote students interest during the whole class. Attention to micro skill

8、 teaching technique . During the whole class, I will learn with my students instead of teaching students .So I will guide students on some points like words spelling ,reading, etc .It will imply some tricks, ways instead on English leaning .Thats also my personal teaching belief: Always focus on stu

9、dents sustainable development. 二Teaching procedures. Before the class, students will prepare a large piece of paper and some color pencils . Step1:Warm-up Greet the students “Whats your name? Whats he(his)name?” and ask then to sing a song “My family”. Purpose of my design :I begin the lesson with a

10、 song ,because its the nature of man to love song .and its an effective way to make the students open their mouth wide and its easy for then to improve their pronunciation and intonation And more, its a good way to liven the classroom atmosphere and help students to relax themselves . Step2:Presenta

11、tion 1. Use the pictures on the computer to teach new words . .2. I draw my family members on the picture and write down the words eg: father mother .etc Then I read:father ,father ,father .This is my father.Ask Ss to draw their family members on the pictures like me and read after me .Ask more stud

12、ents to read the mew words and sentences while pointing at their own pictures. Purpose of my design : I use the pictures on the computer .It can makes it easier for students to know the exact meanings .I ask students to draw their family and write English beside then .That can make students more int

13、erested in learning English and easier to remember how to write them . That also makes students relaxed. Step3.Ptactice. Ss use the pictures that they draw to introduce their families .Tow in one group .Then ask Ss to act. Purpose of my design: In this step I organize pair work ,for its an effective

14、 way to make students talk about their family .They neednt worry about making mistakes .They just say their own family . Step4.Chant. I give this chant in order to make students take an active part in practicing the target language and read new words more fluently . Step5.Section A 1a 1b1. Ss do sec

15、tion A 1a then check together.2. Listen Section A 1b and check together . Purpose of my design: In this step I ask Ss to listen for Ss can read the words and talk about their families .Then Ill practice their ability of listening . Step6: presentation and practicing .1. Use the pictures on the compu

16、ter to introduce his (her) family .2. Give four stars or cartoons family pictures .Ss practice them four in one group.3. Ask Ss to act before the class.Purpose of my design : I give some famous stars and cartoons family pictures. Ss can more interested in them .Ss work four in groups .In this way st

17、udents have more opportunities to use the target language in real-life situations and develop a habit of expressing themselves clearly m freely and confidently .Its important that students not only lean the target language but also learn to use the target language . Step 7 pairwork . Ask Ss to excha

Purpose of my design :In this step I ask students to practice using he or she .his or her . that and those .Ss ate interested in their classmates families .Ask them to introduce their classmates famil

Purpose of my design :To sing a song can make students relaxed after studying for so long .It also can practice the target language .In this step I will arrive at the emo

20、tion aim .Ill make students love their family and all the people around them. 三 Teaching Reflection One of the typical features of this lesson is the student-centered teaching notion .Thats to say, I try to make the students to be the center of the class .Instead of being passive listeners ,the stud

21、ents are active in communicating with each other .They learn by doing things ,by fulfilling the tasks assigned by the teacher ,students practice the four skills of learning English ,and learn how to cooperate and communicate with each other. While the teacher ,instead of just filling knowledge into

22、students mind ,is an organizer ,a partner ,a helper and an evaluator. Another feature of this lesson is that teacher tries to use various mean to liven up the class and arouse the students interest in language learning In my opinion an English teacher should never bore his class with dull lecture, a

23、 dull teacher isnt a good teacher . For example ,In this class, the song is at the end of the class ,a song is arranged at the very beginning of the class ,the other song is at the end of the class which aim to create warm atmosphere and relax students.Visual aids such as photos of my family ,famous

24、 stars cartoon family photos are also used to create vivid and interesting situations ,in which students can learn English easily and voluntarily .Drawing students family members on the paper is used in the class which greatly arouse the students interest of Using the target language and greatly liv

25、e up the classroom atmosphere .It also makes students take an active pant in the teaching activities.The class will make students learning motivating and successful through my step-by-step progression that builds students confidence .Students can actively relate their learning to their personal live

26、s Theyll be happy they can introduce their families in English .During the class, students may feel challenged .There are so many new words .The differences of this ,these ,that and those .However ,they will also experiences the joy of getting puzzles down through cooperation and their effort.Howeve

27、r , when most students take an active part in the teaching activities, some slow learners may have fewer opportunities to practice They are not confident enough , they are afraid of making mistakes and losing their faces Ill try my best to encourage them whenever thy make progress, Ill put up my thumb and praise them with “Good !
