摘要
英语是当今世界上通用的国家语言之一,是世界上使用最广泛的语言,英语教学的目的是培养学生的交际能力。
英语四项基本技能之一的口语是非常重要的,口语有助于学生与人交流。
然而,过多的关注于高考使高中生的英语远落后于口语的要求,本文考察了目前高中英语口语教学中存在的问题,以及讨论交际教学法在高中英语口语中的应用,并给出相关建议。

Abstract
Englishisthemajorworldinternationallanguage,isoneofwidelyusedlanguage.Inchina,thegoalofEnglishteachingistocultivatestudents’communicativecompetence.Ofthefourbasiclanguageskills,speakingisveryimportantbecauseithelpsstudentstocommunicatewitheachother.However,toomuchattentionpaidtothenationalentranceexaminationmadestudentsinhighschoolfallfarbehindtherequirementofspeaking.ThispaperexaminestheproblemsofcurrentoralEnglishteachinginhighschool,anddiscussestheapplicationofcommunicativelanguageteachinginoralteaching,andgivessomesuggestions.

1.Introduction
1.1ThebackgroundoftheCommunicativeLanguageTeaching
WiththedevelopmentofeconomicglobalizationandchinaenterintoWTOformally,AsweallknowthatlearnEnglishwellisimportanttofuturedevelopmentofChina,ChinesepeoplelearnEnglishinordertospeakit,notfortakingexaminations.However,becauseoralEnglishhasnotyetbeenincorporateintothescopeofEnglishtestsothatmostofstudentsandtheirteachersfocusonwrittentests.Asaresult,largenumbersofChinesestudentsscorehighinexamsbuttheyareunabletospeakEnglishfluently.AfterstudyingEnglishforseveralyears,studentsstillremainatalosswhentheyhavetoexpressthemselvesinEnglish.Theymayrememberagreatnumberofwordsandidioms,buttheycannotexpressthemselvesappropriatelyincommunication.Facedwiththissituation,Englishteacherpaidmoreattentiontoimprovestudentsofspeakingability,buthowtoimproveit?
Sinceearly80soflastcentury,EnglishteachersinChinahavebeentryingtoimprovetheirteachingandanewteachingapproachintheirclass.ItisCommunicativeLanguageTeaching.
1.2PurposeofthePaper
CommunicativeLanguageTeachingisaverysignificantteachingmethodinEnglishclassroomforseniorhighschoolstudents.Itcanbeusedtoleadinaclass,HelpmostofstudenttoenhanceyourinterestinlearningEnglish,toimprovestudents’spokenEnglish.itcanbeaveryeffectivewayforanEnglishteacherinteachingprocess.ScholarsandteachersfrombothhomeandabroadhavebeentryingtheirbesttoputforwardandusethosetheorieswhicharerelatedtoCommunicativeLanguageTeachingforquietalongperiodoftime.Atpresent,oralEnglishhasnotyetbeenincorporateintothescopeofEnglishtestsothatmostofstudentsandtheirteachersfocusonwrittentests,inordertogetahigherscoreinthecollegeentranceexamination,studentsinrecentyearsareshoulderingheavierburdenfromvarioushomeworkandextratrainingclasses.Asaresult,largenumbersofChinesestudentsscorehighinexamsbuttheyareunabletospeakEnglishfluently.Inordertochangethissituation,,thispaperanalyzedtheapplicationofcommunicativeLanguageTeachingintheEnglishclassroomofseniorhighschoolandgivesoutaseriesofeffectivenessandmethodsimprovingstudents'oralability.
2.ThecurrentsituationofseniorhighschoolEnglishoralteachinginchina
Inthetraditionalteachingmode,thecenteristeacher,thecontentsaregrammar,vocabularyandtheactivitiesarepracticeofsentencetypesandgrammar.Thestudentswillgraduallybetrappedbyfearanddisgustofthiskindofteachingmethod,additionallyOralEnglishhasnotyetbeenincorporateintothescopeofEnglishtest,TeacherspayattentiontoEnglishknowledge,neglectingtheoralEnglishteaching.MostofthestudentsneglecttheimportanceoforalEnglish,whentheyarepreparingforthecollegeentranceexamination;theseniorschoolstudentspaymoreattentiononwrittentestscoressothatspokenEnglishisignored.MostofstudentsareowedagoodgradebuttheyareunabletospeakEnglishfluently.ThecurrentsituationsofseniorhighschoolEnglishoralteachinginchinaareasfollows:
2.1lackofnaturallanguageenvironment
Languagelearningcanhardlydowithoutspecificlinguisticcontext.InChina,Englishasaforeignlanguage,itisboundtolacksauthenticlanguageenvironments.ChinesestudentslearnEnglishonlytofinishschoolwork;theyhardlypracticeEnglishafterclass.Morestudentsinclassresultsinlesscommunionsbetweenstudentsandteachersorstudentsandstudents.Noauthenticlanguagecontexts,toacertainextent,affectedimprovementoforalteaching.Forlanguagelearner,learnEnglishisaimtocommunication.OnlycreatearealEnglishenvironment,advocatinguseofreallanguage,wecanfinallyachievethepurposeofimprovestudents'Englishexpressionability.
2.2LackofspecialoralEnglishteaching
Duetotheeffectofexaminationsystem,OralEnglishhasnotbeenincludedinthetestrange;Manyteachersdon'tpayattentiontothetrainingstudentsoralEnglish,forthesakeoffinishtheteachingobjectivesandcopewithallkindsofusualtest,Almosteachlessonisusedtoexplainthetext,worktheexercises,andtheyfocusonvocabulary,sentencepatternsandgrammarexplain,Ignoringthestudents'oralEnglishtraining.Asaresult,largenumbersofChinesestudentsarescorehighbutareunabletospeakEnglishfluently.AfterstudyingEnglishforseveralyears,studentsstillremainatalosswhentheyhavetoexpressthemselvesinEnglish.Theymayrememberagreatnumberofwordsandidioms,andreadsimpleofEnglisharticle,buttheycannotusethemappropriatelyincommunication.AfterhavinglearnedEnglishformanyyears,manyChinesestudentscannotspeakaffluentEnglishyet,only"dumbEnglish”.
2.3Students’lackconfidenceinspeakingEnglish
BecauseEnglishfoundationofthestudentisweak,studentsareinsufficientvocabulary,pooratgrammaticalpatterns,whileOralcommunicationisoral,flexible,communicative,errorofopenness,whichleadstoStudentslackconfidenceinspeakingEnglish.SomestudentsthinkthatlearnoralEnglishissodifficultthattheygiveupmanyopportunitiestopracticeEnglish.Somestudentsareworriedabouttheerrors,orofbecriticizing,orlosingface,sotheyareafraidofspeakingEnglish.
2.4Chinese-speakingteachingmethod
Inthepastfewyears,Studentsspendlotsoftimeinlearningthephonetic,readthenewwordsandrecitethetextinthefirstplace,tostudyingandimprovethepronunciationandintonation.Somestudent’sstudystandardspokenEnglishwiththetaperecorder;finally,somestudentsstillcan’tspeakfluentEnglish.Besides,someoftheEnglishteacherstressedtheaccuracyofspokenEnglish,andcorrectthemistakeswhenevertheymade,theyletthestudentpracticethesentencepatternrepeatedly.Asaresult,itstrengthenthestudents'psychologicalanxiety,students’areinterestinspeakingEnglishisweakened.
3.ThecommunicativelanguageteachinginthehighschooloralEnglishclassroom
Facedwiththissituation,Communicativelanguageteachingisagoodwaytosolvetheseproblems.Communicativelanguageteachingmakesuseofreal-lifesituationsthatnecessitatecommunication.Theteachersetsupasituationthatstudentsarelikelytoencounterinreallife.Thereal-lifesimulationschangefromdaytoday.Students'motivationtolearncomesfromtheirdesiretocommunicateinmeaningfu
