一、背景知识

秘书除了做好行政助理的工作，在陪同外国客人时，也要帮助他们处理生活中的问题。

比如，很多外国客户在闲暇之时，想在中国购物，需要陪同的秘书提出一些好的建议，给他们做导购。

因此，秘书平时就要注意积累一些关于中国商品的知识，熟悉了解一些具有浓郁中国风情和特色的商品，如：

手工艺品、古董、瓷器、中国画、中国书法作品、地方特产等，并知道在当地什么地方能够买到物美价廉的商品。

这样，在向外国客户介绍和推荐时，既方便了他们购物，还让客人领略了优秀的中国文化、中国人民的智慧，使他们对中国和中国产品产生浓厚的兴趣，还有利于他们对公司和公司员工留下良好、深刻的印象，为日后进一步往来与合作打下基础。
