My happy family

Today, I will tell you a talk about my family. I hope you enjoy it.I have a happy family,I love my family very much.  

There are five people in my family.They are my grandfather, grandmother, father, mother and I. I lovemy mother best. She gives me lots of love.I remember when I was very young, I was ill in bed.Mother looked very worried and looked after me carefully. She told story  to me and sang songs for me. She also did all kinds of things to make me happyI looked at my mother’s face and said to her,“Mum, do you feel tired?

When my mother heard that, she smiled and answered,“No, my child .I don’t feel tired , but I feel happy. “Happy?

 Why?

 I asked.”“No why,only because you are my dear daughter.” Mother answered.But mum, I can’t understand.”I said. Mother told me that I would know when I grew older. Today I know my mother loves me deeper than other things. 

 My father is my dear friend. In spring we often plant trees together; In summer father likes to take me to swim in the river;In autumn we often go to see the sun late in the afternoon; When winter comes we usually play with snow. 

I love my grandparents too. They are very kind. I often cried when I was very young, they always held my hands , took me outside and played.

 And last one is me. I am a lovely girl. I like reading and writing best. My hobby is flying kites in spring. That was very fun.

Good morning,dear teachers and classmates. I’m Fang Hongyi from Class 17 Grade 7.Today I’m very happy to make a speech here. My topic is “ I Love English !

” 

As everyone knows, English is very important today. It has become the most common language intheworld. If we can speak English well, we will have more chances to succeed. So more and more people begin to learn it.  

 As for me, I learn English not only because of its importance, but because of my love for it. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. When I was a child, my mother often told me English stories. Then, I came to love English. Now when I read English inclass, I can feel the confident from my words. When I watch English cartoons, I can feel the pleasure which is different from Chinese cartoons. When I write English, I can see the beauty which is not the same as our Chinese...  

I love English. It gives me a colorful dream. I hope I can travel around the world one day. I want to go to  America. I also want to go to London .If I can ride my bike in Cambridge University, how happy I’ll be!

I hope I can make friends with many people from different countries. I'll introduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City and the Summer Palace. I hope they can love our country like us. 

I know Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after my hard study, one day I can speak English very well and I’m also sure my dream will come true one day!

Dear teacher and classmates:

 My name is Sun Yifan. I’m from Class 9 Grade 7 . 

I love English. English language is now used everywhere in the world. It has become the most common language on Internet and for international trade. Learning English makes me confident and brings me great pleasure. 

When I was seven, my mother asked me to have English lessons. At there, I played games and sang English songs with other children. Then I discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dream in the English world. 

Everyday, I read English following the tapes. Sometimes, I watch English cartoons.   On the weekend, I often go to the English corner. By talking with others there, I have made more and more friends as well as improved my oral English. 

 I hope I can travel around the world someday. I want to go to America to visit Washington Monument, because the president Washington is my idol. Of course, I want to go to London,too. If I can ride my bike in Cambridge university, I will be very happy. 

 I hope I can speak English with everyone in the world. I'll in-troduce China to them, such as the Great Wall, the Forbidden City. 

 I know, Rome was not built in a day. I believe that after continuous hard study, one day I can speak English very well. 

 If you want to be loved, you should learn to love and be lovable. So I believe as I love English everyday, it will love me too.

因为越来越多的人注意到这一点，学英语的人数正在已很高的速度增长。

但是对我而言，我学英语不仅仅因为它的重要性以及它的实用性，更是因为我喜爱英语。

当我学英语时，我可以体会到一种不同的思维方式，它可以给我更多接触世界的空间。

当我读英语小说时，我能感受到不同于阅读翻译文的快乐。

当我说英语时，我可以感到自信。

当我写英语时，我能够感到不同于汉语的那种美……   

我爱英语，它给了我一个色彩斑斓的梦。

The Ideas of Learning English

As an international language, everyone all over the world starts to learn English. I am one of them. And I love English very much. Through years of learning,I gained many good ways. Today, I’ll talk about how I study English. I hope we can share the learning experience and learn from each other. 

Firstly I am interested in English very much. When I was a kid, I thought English is a magic thing. So I became to like English day after day and I starts to enjoy learning it. 

Secondly, I think listening and writing are very important. After finishing my homework, I listen to the tapes many times and read after the tapes. Ithink it is a good way to practice my listening. 

Thirdly, I like writing something in English. I often do it, so I need to remember many words every day. This work is not easy, but I keep on doing it, and now I enjoy it. 

Meanwhile, I often watch TV on CCTV9. It’s a good channel to learn English on listening and writing. When I watch the TV shows, I listen to the voice and write down anything I hear from the shows. Now, I think it is a happy and excited thing to learn English from watching TV shows. These are my own ways to learn English. I think everyone has his or her own ways. The most important is to find a way that really suits you. At the same time, perseverance and hardworking are also important.In English learning,I still have a long way to go. I’m happy to accept your good advice. I learn English as above. How about you?

首先，我对英语非常感兴趣，当我是一个孩子的时候，我认为英语是一种神奇的事情。

所以我开始一天比一天喜欢英语，我开始喜欢学习它。

第二，我认为听和说是非常重要的。

作完作业后，我听磁带和跟读。

第三，我喜欢用英语写一些东西。

A Lesson from Nature  

Ladies and gentlemen:

 Good morning!

 Today, the title of my speech is A Lesson from Nature. 

Around us, there are plants, animals and many other things. We live in nature, so to keep the balance of nature is very important for us. But today, too many trees are still being cut down in many countries and flood all over the world are getting more and more serious, A lot of land has gone with them. This is a lesson from nature. 

When people move into a new place, they often cut down trees or pull out many wild plants to make farmland. They don’t know that trees can stop flood and wind from washing or blowing the earth away, and that many of these wild plants are food for some wild animals. If the animals can’t find enough plants to eat, they will die or have to leave the place. 

In one part of the United States, for example, the deer there like to eat a kind of wild flowers. The mountain tigers there eat the deer. But people killed many mountain tigers to protect the deer. soon there were so many deer that the ate up all the wild flowers. Then the deer began to eat the green leaves of the young trees .so the farmers thought of ways to protect their trees, then the deer had nothing to eat and many of them died.  

The number of trees, deer, tigers, wild flowers and plants has changed much—less and less. We need to do more to keep the balance of nature. Thank you

The importance of time 

Good morning,dear teacher and my friends!

My name is ****.I’m a student of Great 7 from ***middle school. I ’m very glad to stand here and give you a short speech today. My topic is “the importance of time”. 

Someone says:

 “Time is money!

” But I think time is even more important than money. Why?

   Because when money is spent, we can get it back. However, When time is gone,It will never return no matter how rich you are. 

But it is a pity that there are a lot of people who do not know the importance of time. They spend all day on smoking, drinking and playing.They do not know that wasting time means wasting life. 

As to us, a middle school student, School time is a very important period for our growing up.  We should make full use of it to do something useful, just like learning different kinds of knowledge, taking exercise for a good health and so on. 

In a word, we should save time.Time is limited and so，very precious. It will not return any more when it is gone.

“时间就是金钱！

”但是我认为时间要比金钱重要很多。

为什么？

因为但金钱花完的时候，我们还可以赚回来。

然而，但时间过去的时候，它就再也不会回来了，无论你多么富有。

但很遗憾的是现在有很多人都不知道时间的重要性。

他们整天把时间花在抽烟、喝酒和玩上面。

他们并不知道，浪费时间意味着浪费生命。

对于我们来说，作为初中生，学校时光对于我们的成长来说是非常重要的一个时期。

我们应该充分利用这段时间去作一些有意义的事情，比如学习各种各样的知识，锻炼身体保持健康等等。

总之，我们应该珍惜时间。

时间是有限的，所以是珍贵的。
