II.Teachingmaterialsanalyzingandrearranging教材分析和重组

1.教材分析

本单元以Physicalappearance为话题,共设计了三个部分的内容。

旨在通过单元教学使学生掌握一些描述人物外表的新词汇;学会询问并描述人的基本外貌特征;并继续学习一般现在时的用法。

SectionA部分共设计了9个任务型活动。

1a要求学生读图后将所给描述人物外表的词汇与相应图片配对;学习这些常用的描述人物外貌特征的词汇,为下面的训练提供语言材料;1b要求学生听录音并根据所获信息将描述Amy’sfriend外表的词汇填在相应的横线上;1c要求学生在教师指导下,以pairwork的形式口头练习“询问及描述人物外表”的句型;2a要求学生根据录音区别has与is的用法;2b要求学生根据录音中对David,Sally,Pete三人外貌特征的描述,填入适当的词汇完成表格;3要求学生针对图画内容,完成一段描述Lily’snewfriend外貌特征的对话;3a要求学生阅读图片下4段描述人物外貌特征的短文并与相应的图片配对;3b要求学生以pairwork形式操练“询问及描述人物外貌特征”的句型。

SectionB部分共设计了9个任务型活动。

1a要求学生将所给词汇与相应的图片配对,进一步拓展相关词汇;1b要求学生运用所给表示人物外部特征的词汇对自己熟悉的musiciansoractors进行描述;2a要求学生听一段关于JohnnyDean与TinaBrown职业与外貌特征的录音,在表格中填写人物的职业名称;2b要求学生听录音,完成表格中有关人物外貌特征的内容;2c要求学生能描述自己最喜欢的音乐家、演员或运动员的外貌特征;3a要求学生阅读一篇描述JohnnyDean外貌特征变化的短文,完成表格;3b要求学生根据所给GloriaGreen的图片,完成一篇描述其外貌特征变化的短文;3c要求学生根据课文写一篇有关自己家庭成员外貌特征的短文;4要求学生以游戏形式继续练习“描述人物外貌特征”。

该活动要求小组成员先画出一个人的图片并用语言描述其外貌特征,其他小组成员根据描述画出这个人的图片。

其中画得最逼真的获胜。

SelfCheck部分共设计了3项任务。

1要求学生辨认并复习所学词汇;2要求学生在自己的词汇表中添加五个新词汇;3要求学生根据图画回答问题。

GrammarFocus归纳“询问及描述人物外貌”的句型,学习do,does的用法。
