II.Teachingmaterialsanalyzingandrearranging教材分析和重组
1.教材分析
本单元以Physicalappearance为话题，共设计了三个部分的内容。
旨在通过单元教学使学生掌握一些描述人物外表的新词汇；学会询问并描述人的基本外貌特征；并继续学习一般现在时的用法。
SectionA部分共设计了9个任务型活动。
1a要求学生读图后将所给描述人物外表的词汇与相应图片配对；学习这些常用的描述人物外貌特征的词汇，为下面的训练提供语言材料；1b要求学生听录音并根据所获信息将描述Amy’sfriend外表的词汇填在相应的横线上；1c要求学生在教师指导下，以pairwork的形式口头练习“询问及描述人物外表”的句型；2a要求学生根据录音区别has与is的用法；2b要求学生根据录音中对David,Sally,Pete三人外貌特征的描述，填入适当的词汇完成表格；3要求学生针对图画内容，完成一段描述Lily’snewfriend外貌特征的对话；3a要求学生阅读图片下4段描述人物外貌特征的短文并与相应的图片配对；3b要求学生以pairwork形式操练“询问及描述人物外貌特征”的句型。
要求其中一人将课本中所提供的六个名字写在图片旁方格内，另一人利用提问的方式在图片中找到相应的人物；4要求学生以游戏活动形式继续就“人物外貌”这一话题展开训练。
要求一个小组成员描述班内某同学的外貌特征，其他小组成员利用提问的方式猜测所描述的人物。
SectionB部分共设计了9个任务型活动。
1a要求学生将所给词汇与相应的图片配对，进一步拓展相关词汇；1b要求学生运用所给表示人物外部特征的词汇对自己熟悉的musiciansoractors进行描述；2a要求学生听一段关于JohnnyDean与TinaBrown职业与外貌特征的录音，在表格中填写人物的职业名称；2b要求学生听录音，完成表格中有关人物外貌特征的内容；2c要求学生能描述自己最喜欢的音乐家、演员或运动员的外貌特征；3a要求学生阅读一篇描述JohnnyDean外貌特征变化的短文，完成表格；3b要求学生根据所给GloriaGreen的图片，完成一篇描述其外貌特征变化的短文；3c要求学生根据课文写一篇有关自己家庭成员外貌特征的短文；4要求学生以游戏形式继续练习“描述人物外貌特征”。
该活动要求小组成员先画出一个人的图片并用语言描述其外貌特征，其他小组成员根据描述画出这个人的图片。
其中画得最逼真的获胜。
SelfCheck部分共设计了3项任务。
1要求学生辨认并复习所学词汇；2要求学生在自己的词汇表中添加五个新词汇；3要求学生根据图画回答问题。
GrammarFocus归纳“询问及描述人物外貌”的句型，学习do,does的用法。
