Auto-dischargingSystemforJiggingMachineBasedonSRM

Abstract-Thispaperintroducesanauto-dischargingsystemforjiggingmachinebasedonswitchedreluctancemotor(SRM).Inthissystem,SRMisusedtoreplacethetraditionalasynchronousmotor.Thehardwaresystem,controllerandsoftwaredesignmethodsarediscussedinthispaper.AT89C51istakenasthecorecomponentofthespeedregulationcontrollerforSMRandworkswithotherperipheralcircuitstorealizeeffectivecontrolonmotor.Theexperimentshowsthatauto-dischargingsystemforjiggingmachinebasedonSRMisfeasibleandcanplayanimportantroleinstabilizingcleancoalashcontent,reducingcleancoalloss,improvingproductqualityandseparationefficiency.

1.INTRODUCTION

Thejiggingmachineisakindofmechanicalmineralsortingequipmentandoccupiesanimportantpositionintheproductionofthelargemodemcoalpreparationplant.However,theautomationlevelofjiggingmachinehasbeenout-dated.Thebackwardcontrolmodeinjiggingcoalpreparationrestrictstheproductquality,separationefficiencyandprocessability.Oneofthereasonsisthelowerefficiencyofthemotorwhichisusedcommonlyindischargingsystemforjiggingmachine.Howtoimprovetheefficiencyofmotorhasanimportantsignificanceforimprovingcoalpreparationefficiencyandstabilizingproductquality.

  Switchedreluctancemotor(SRM)withbetterstartcharacteristicsissuitableforstartingfrequentlyinadverseenvironmentalcondition,hightemperatureandevenstrong

vibrationconditionsandkeepshigherefficiency.Basedonthesecharacteristics,weuseswitchedreluctancemotorinsteadofthetraditionalasynchronousmotortodevelop

auto-dischargingsystemforjiggingmachinebasedonSRM.Theexperimentshowsthatauto-dischargingsystemforjiggingmachinebasedonSRMisfeasibleandcanplayanimportantroleinstabilizingcleancoalashcontent,reducingcleancoalloss,improvingproductqualityandseparationefficiency.

II.CONSTITUTIONOFSPEED-REGULATIONSYSTEMFORSWITCHEDRELUCTANCEMOTORS

Thespeed-regulationsystemforswitchedreluctancemotoriscomposedofSRM,powerconverter,controlleranddetector,asshowninFigure1.

1)Switchedreluctancemotor

SwitchedreluctancemotoristhekeycomponentofSRMspeed-regulationsystem.

2)Powerconverter

ThepowerconverterisacircuitdevicethatisusedtodriveSRMandprovidepowerforSRM.Theonandoffstatusofpowerswitchofpowerconverterarecontrolledreasonablytocompletespeedregulating.ThecostofpowerconverteraccountsforalargeproportioninwholeSRMspeed-regulationsystem,thusselectinganddesigningsuitablepowerconverterisoneofkeyfactorsthatimproveperformance-priceratioofSRMspeed-regulationsystem.

3)Controller

Controlleristhecentrumofsystemandwillplayanimportantroleinthesystem.Thefunctionofcontrolleris,accordingtoactualsystemrunningstatus,todealwithexternalinputinstruction,speedfeedbacksignalandfeedbackinformationofcurrentsensorandpositionsensorandtocontroltheworkingstateofmainswitchdeviceinpowerconverter,thus,realizingthecontrolofswitchedreluctancemotorrunningstatus,satisfYingtherunningrequirements.

4)Detector

Inordertoenableswitchedreluctancemotortorun normally,thecorrespondingphasewindingmustbeconductivewhentherotorgoestocertainpositionandeveryphasewindingsshouldbeswitchedcorrectlyallthetime.Otherwise,motornotonlycannotoperateasper requirement,butalsothephenomenasuchasmotorreversion, stoporrotatingrandommayoccur.Inordertoobtaininstantaneouspositionofrotorwhilemotorruns,theangledisplacementsensormustbeinstalledwithinmotortooutputcorrectrotorpositioninformation.Thisisalsoanobviousdifferencebetweenswitchedreluctancemotorandothermotors.

III.USEDESIGNOFCONTROLLERFORSRMSPEED-REGULATIONSYSTEM

ThemethodofcombininghardwarecircuitandsinglechipcomputerisadoptedinthedesignofcontrollerforSRMspeed-regulationsystem.Hardwarecircuittakeschargefastregulationtaskandsingle-chipcomputercompletesthecomplexfunctionssuchaslogicandparametersetting.AT89C51single-chipcomputerisusedasthecorecomponentofcontroller,inaddition,othercontrolcircuitssuchaspositiondetector,currentandvoltagedetector,overcurrentprotection,overvoltageprotection,analoganddigitalinput,outputcircuitaswellasdisplaycircuitandsoon.TheblockdiagramofcontrollerforSRMspeed-regulationsystemisshowninFigure2.

TheAT89C51single-chipcomputeristhekeypartofcontrolleranditsfunctioniscomparingthegivenvalueofexternalrotatespeedwithactualvalueofmotorspeed,then

calculatingcontrollablevariables(mostlyincludingcurrentchoppingbasisIgandmotorwindingfiringangleθon)accordingtopre-establishedPIDregulatingformula,lastly,basedontheexternaloperationrequirements(rotatingclockwiseorcounter-clockwise)andthewaveshapeofpositionsensortodecidephaseoutputsignal.Moreover,thesingle-chipcomputercompletesalsosomedisplayfunctions,forinstance,overvoltage,lowvoltage,overloadingandsystemstatusandsoon.

(1)Positionsensorsignalinputcircuitistheroleofthemotorpositionsensorsignalwaveforminputisprovidedtothemicrocontroller,andalsobothisolationprotectionfunction.Singlechipmicrocomputeraccordingtothecircuitprovidesthewaveformcanbeidentifiedmotorrotorpositionsoastodeterminethecorrespondingoutputsignal,canalsobebasedonthesensorwaveformcycletocalculatethepracticaloperationofthemotorspeedvaluestoPIDoperationsandotherfunctions.

(2)Phaseinterruptioncircuitfunctioniswhenthepositionsensorwaveformchangesstategeneratesaninterruptsignaltothemicroprocessortoprovideaphasesignaloutputtoprepare.

(3)Phaselockedfrequencymultipliercircuitisusedtopositionsensorsignalcyclefrequency.Butthecomputerfromaccurateinconductionangleandcriticalanglecorrespondingtotheoutputsignalisbroken.

(4)A/DconversionandspeedcircuitwhichistobesetbytheusersimulationspeedvaluethroughtheA/Dconversionmoduleconversiontodigitalquantityinputtothecomputer.

(5)Over-voltageandunder-voltageprotectioncircuitwhentheroleofthepowercircuitvoltageexceedsthespecifiedvoltageandcontrolthesupplyvoltageislessthanthegivenvaluetothecomputersendsoutalarmsignalsfrombutmakethecorrespondingtreatmentandprotectivemeasuresofcomputer.

(6)Externaloperationcircuitofthemainroleistouserrequirements,suchasstart,stop,forward,inversion,electric,braking,dynamicandinterlockcontrolinformationinputtothecomputer,aswellaswithexternalisolationeffect.

(7)Resetcircuitismainlydividedinto:

poweronreset,manualresetandautomaticreset.Whenasystemfailurebydividedsothatitsreturntoanormalstate.

(8)Displaycircuitfunctionstodisplaytheworkingstatusofmotorspeedcontrolsystem.Mainlyagivenspeeddisplay,thegivenspeedandactualspeedsynchronization,overloadandlocked-rotordisplay,over-voltageandunder-voltagedisplay,displayandpowersupplydisplayoperation.

(9)SignaloutputinterfacecircuitisusedtooutputofthesinglechipcomputercorrespondingsignaloutputtotheexternalinterfacecircuitsoastointerfacewithMCUisolationeffect;steeringcontrolcircuit'sfunctionaccordingtouser'soperationrequirementstodeterminethemotorrunningsteering:

thepositiverotationandthereverserotation.

(10)D/Aconversionandlowspeedchoppercircuitiswhenthemotorisrunningbelowthelowspeedregion,thecontrolledvariablesthroughtheD/Aconverterconvertstheanalogquantityandthewindingofthemotortotherebycontroltheactualcurrentvalueiscomparedtothemotorwindingcurrentpeak.

(11)Currentlimitingprotectioncircuitwhentheroleofthemotorwindingcurrentexceedsaratedcurrentvaluewhentheoutputsignalsothatalltheoutputsignalofthephaseintheoffstate,protectsthemaincircuitoflargepowertransistorandtheeffectofmotorwinding.

(12)Logicandcircuitistheroleofthethreesignalprocessinglogicandthenoutputtothecorrespondingpushcircuitisamplifiedtodrivethepowercircuit,isolation.

IV.SOFTWAREDESIGNOFCONTROLLERFORSRMSPEED-REGULATIONSYSTEM

TheprogrammingofcontrollersoftwareusesassemblylanguageofAT89C51single-chipcomputer.Modularizationdesignisadoptedtoincreasereadabilityandportability.Forthissystem,thecontrolsoftwareshouldmeetfollowingrequirements:

1)Toassurethatmotorstartswithoutdeadzoneandpossesseslargeenoughstarttorquetodecreasetorquepulsatingduringstarting.

2)Tobecapableofrealizingmotortransitionsmoothlybetweentwoworkingstatus,thatis,lowspeedcurrentchoppingandhighspeedangleposition.

3)Tobeabletoreceiveandjudgeexternalfaultsignalsandprotectionsignals,todiagnoseanddisplayfaultsandtakecorrespondingpreventionmeasures.

4)Tousemodularizationmethodinsoftwareprogramming,togeneraterelationshipasfewaspossiblebetweensubroutinesandtransmitparametersbyvariablesandflags.

Thesoftwareprogrammingincludesmain,startupmodule,runningmoduleandphaseinterruptmodule.TheflowchartofmainprogramisshowninFigure3.
