Formanyseniorcitizens,theyearsafter65arenotenjoyable.Theyfeelunproductivewhentheynolongerwork.Theirliveslosemeaning.Inaddition,theymayfeellonelybeingawayfromtheirfamiliesandthecontactstheyhadintheirhealth,astheygrowolder,Iftheyliveinbigcities,theyoftenworryabouttheirsafety.

Otherseniorcitizensenjoytheirlives.Theyfeelfreetodothingstheywerenotabletodowhentheywereworkingandraisingfamilies.Theynowhavetimetoenjoyhobbiesandsportsandtravel.Theyassociatewiththeirfellowseniorcitizenswhohavecommoninterestsandequalfreetime.Manyseniorcitizensmovetoretirementcommunitieslocatedinwarmclimates.Someseniorcitizenscontinuetoworkbeyondretirementage.Manyfindnewcareersandprofessionalopportunitiesaftertheyretire.
