【单元分析】
本单元围绕“vacations”展开教学活动，让学生学习用“I’dlike/loveto……”和Ihopeto旅游….等句型谈论各自喜欢的旅游胜地，进一步拓展学生的知识面。
本单元的核心语言项目是Talkabouttheplaceyouwouldliketogo.”课程设置有易到难，从对vacations的简单评价和概括过渡到具体要求，实现了旧知识和新知识的衔接。
通过谈论旅游胜地的人文地理，把I'dliketo……./Ihopeto…../I’dloveto…..这一语法点贯穿始终，使感性的语言材料和语法知识融为一体。
此外，教材还对已有的语言项目进行拓展，通过讨论选择最向往的名胜，提高学生的认知能力、思维能力、审美能力。
【学情分析】
学生第三单元和第八单元中已学过用一般将来时和一般过去时谈论vacations这一话题，这为本单元的学习奠定了基础。
通过七、八年级的学习，部分学生已具备了较强的听说能力，并期望在课堂上有更多的语言输入和输出；而部分学生可能因基础较差，没有信心开口说英语。
针对不同的学习需求，教师在设计课堂教学任务时必须注意基础英语材料，并在此基础上作适当拓展；同时，注意激发学生对大自然的热爱，鼓励学生积极投入到大自然的怀抱，
