班级：

五（5）班是一个新的班级，我还没接触过班上的学生，未了解他们的总体情况，不知道他们的总体水平到了什么程度，所以在开学之初我首先要全面地了解学生的学习情况。
但五年级的学生在经过三、四年级两个阶段的学习，应该有了一定的英语基础，所以在这一个阶段要在课堂上多运用一些生动的教学方法来增加学生的学习兴趣。

（一）册教材分析
一、教材特点
1．强调语言运用
本套教材体现了交际教学思想，注重学生语言应用能力的培养。
教材在整体构思、内容安排、活动设计和教学方法选用等方面都紧密联系学生的生活实际，贯彻了语言的交际功能和语言应用的基本原则，把知识和技能目标融会在完成任务的过程之中，从而体现了把话题一功能一结构一任务结合起来的总思路。
2．注重能力培养
本套教材在内容安排、活动设计和学习评价上都贯穿“学会学习”的主题。
学生用书的设计十分注意培养学生自主学习和独立运用所学语言去做事情的能力，如：
Let'sfindout／Let'scheck／Pairwork／Groupwork／Tasktime等活动。
力求用简单生动、通俗易懂的方式渗透学习策略，鼓励他们能动思考，主动做事，自动调整学习方式，发掘他们积极求知、努力进取的潜能。
3．突出兴趣激发
本套教材在内容、形式、方法、插图及装祯设计等方面都以激发学生的学习动机和兴趣为宗旨。
教学内容紧密联系小学生的生活和学习实际，选择话题充分考虑到小学生的需求，如：
学校、家庭、饮食、玩具、动物、颜色、数字等。
语言材料真实地道、活泼有趣，让学生易学乐学。
4．重视双向交流
本套教材重视双向交流和中西方文化的介绍。
根据学生的年龄特点和认知能力，教材选编了一些与学生日常生活密切相关，与教学内容和教学进度同步的中西方文化知识。
5．提供多媒体的配套材料
本套教材是一套以学生用书为核心，集文字、音像为一体的多种媒体的教材。
二、学习目标
1．能听、说、读、写92个单词或短语以及13组句子和9个单句。
（包括教师、课程、食物、家务劳动、居室家具和自然景物等几个话题）要求能在真实语境中正确运用并能读懂简短语篇。
2．能听、说、认读16个单词。
3．能学会6个手工制作。
4．能听懂、会唱8首歌曲。
5．能听懂、会吟唱12首歌谣。
6．能完成6个自我评价活动。
7．能理解6个幽默小故事。
8．能了解6项简单的中西方文化知识。
三、使用本册教材要注意的问题
教师要创造性地使用本教材。
比如，在Unit1Mynewteachers学习结束，应建议学生留心观察身边的人物，并用学过的句型把它描述出来。
教师要根据当时、当地和学生的实际情况，灵活地使用教材，随时挖掘和运用身边的英语教育资源，丰富英语教学的内容与形式，拓宽英语教学的渠道。
总之，教师备课时要胸怀全局，在准确把握教材编写意图的基础之上，创造性地进行教学设计，不要
拘泥于教材，使运用本册教材教学充满活力。

一、教学目标：
1．能听懂问句：
Who'syourartteacher?
What'shelike?
并能做出正确回答。
2．能够听、说、读、写单词old,short,thin,tall,strong，并能在上下文中理解其意思。
3．能够看懂指示语，并按照指令完成Let'sfindout中的简单任务，找出正确的画面。
二、教学重点：
教学重点是Let'slearn部分的单词和句型
三、教学难点：
教学难点是Let'sstart
四、教学准备：

3、Presentation:
（1）出示Let'sstart部分教学挂图，介绍说：
Rabbithasmanynewteachersinherschool．Doyouhavenewteachers?
引导学生根据主情景图的提示描述新教师。
（2）学生描述自己的新老师，引导学生结合预习部分回答出strong,tall,short,thin等旧词，然后结合图卡向学生呈现新词：
young,kind,old,funny。
（3）让学生运用新单词进行造句，介绍自己的老师
（4）根据以下信息请学生判断会话中描述的教师是Let'slearn配图中的哪一位：
MrHuistheartteacher．What'shelike?
He'sshortandthin．完成前面铺垫的学习任务，让学生猜出哪位是Sarah的新教师。
再引导学生利用Let'slearn部分所提供的替换句型，描述Sarah的其他两位新教师，练习巩固所学新词。
（5）Let'sfindout
指导学生用所学新词和句型描述Let'sfindout部分几位教师的体貌特征，然后找出正确的图片。
完成这项活动后，引导学生充分利用八张新词卡片继续进行结对或小组活动，如：
MynewChineseteacheristallandstrong．Whoishe?
让其他学生选出正确的图片。
六、作业设计：
1.抄写四会单词和句型两行

本节课主要是操练本单元的主要句型，主要以判断题和填表题的形式来练习听力，然后通过问句答句习题来让学生进行巩固。
但班上部分学生的基础较低，仍有部分学生对该句型不够熟练。
